Get a Roku device and you can watch ESPN3 on your TV.

Yes you can watch sports center highlights and somr other ESPN3 programing with a Roku, but you will only be able to view the game if your ISP is listed as an ESPN3 provider. The same is true for all phones, tablets, streaming media players, Xbox 360....If your ISP isn't listed you are SOL and gameplan pay per view is your only option unless you want to pay for and attempt a VPN workaround as mentioned by another poster on egriz.

The advantage of the Roku is you can watch it on your TV If you are with Charter optimum or whoever they are this week, the Android and I-phone app require a log in and password which hasn't been st up yet. Roku has set up espn as on of their native channesl (about 2 or three weeks ago) It will automatically recognize your isp.

FWIW they also added Disney.

I'll be at the game but asking for a friend who can't make it, if you have Charter/Optimum do you have to call to order the game?

Yes. Use phone #, posted above. And don't call until Friday. That's what I was told.

Not seeing the Optimum/Charter Phone number.

The full Saturday schedule is posted -- showing Gameplan coverage -- at ESPN.com. http://espn.go.com/college-football/schedule/_/group/81

We bought the season Gameplan football package (thru DirecTV) after going through the weekend-purchase process last year, and early this. The schedule does not show yet on the TV feed, even for us -- but that's normal. The "magic number" is 24-hours before event time, which is why you have to wait until Friday. They may actually show the schedule before then, but that's by no means a given. And even then, you cannot buy the short-term package more than 24 hours in advance (stupid, I know, but it's a big f***in' corporation).

FWIW, the season package has not been a bad deal, if you want to see games outside the big wheels. We saw a lot of FCS games this year -- many in HD, and most of the SD was "okay."

Yeah, I think so. We gave up on cable here in Idaho Falls years ago, so I can't be sure ... but the 24-hour thing seems to be cast in concrete, across the board (God knows why).

To get the game on Charter (formally Bresnan & Optimum) the number to call is 1(877)-273-7626.[1-877 BRESNAN] No need to wait until Friday, they built the day's event as a Hot item event and can be added at any time. You can also stop into your local office to purchase the event as well.

Thanks for the info.

The only "game plan" for Griz fans should be planning to be at the game. You haven't seen a Griz playoff game in Missoula for two years and the ones in 2011 were erased.
Your team goes into 2014 with a self imposed 4 scholarship loss that will last until this year's freshmen are seniors.
Anyone content to watch the game on TV should just turn bobcat.

I'll be there...just need another 9,000 people to step up and buy tickets!

I know I didn't wait until 4:00 pm like everyone said, but it is 23 hours until kickoff. I just got off the phone with DIreCt(K) TV and they told me the CC v. UM game is not scheduled yet. It's only on ESPN3, which I conveniently reminded them that they don't carry. She said try back in the morning, it might be available then.

Have a bad feeling on this one. If only Silverback Psychological were still in business.

For DirecTV, the game is on Ch. 789. If you call in that morning and order the one day pass for ESPN gameplan which is $26... I think, all FCS playoff games should be available in that 780's range.

Charter/Optimum: UM/CCU game is on CH422, PPV. Call 1-877-273-7626. I also found out that the EWU/SDSU game will be on Charter PPV at 2 pm. They couldn't give me definite CH no., but said it would be between CHs 421-427.
