Just saw them go by an ndsu fan with a sign that says "Montana state bought out my other sign" That's good stuff

Props to NDSU. Representing well.

We could do it better

Very true if it was about the field and scenery, but like they said they are trying to stay away from stadiums and campuses. Don't know why.

The backdrop of WaGriz is tops. Inside the Fargodome is unreal. I would stii rather watch outdoors.

When are those f-ing Bison pansies going to realize their AD is not good at negotiating contracts? :?

I fully expected to see that idiot with the elk antlers in the background but apparently he prefers to run alongside the peloton in the Tour de France.

Yeah, but your fans are very loud and enthusiastic. Great turnout for it being away from the stadium. Fargo should be proud. Loved the interview that ESPN did with your coach too btw. Very high class, great guy, seems like a very motivating guy.

There's some terrific signs out there.. "Jim Delany wears shape-ups" was terrific. They hammer on the B1G a lot too.. lol.

FYI for those who are interested. (Some of the questions on this thread are answered in the USA Today article which quotes the GameDay producer. They are also answered in the interview on ESPN radio of the producer by Scott Van Pelt, if you are an ESPN member and can access the archives.)

ESPN College GameDay Headed to Fargo, N.D.
“…College GameDay has visited three other FCS matchups in recent history: Hampton at Florida A&M on Nov. 15, 2008 – the shows first HBCU site; Grambling vs. Southern at the Bayou Classic on Nov. 26, 2005; and at Penn for the Harvard game on Nov. 16, 2002.”

Why did ESPN choose NDSU for GameDay? Here’s why:

“ESPN College GameDay comes to North Dakota State”
USA Today

Scott Van Pelt interviewed GameDay producer Lee Fitting on 9/17/2013 on the ‘SVP and Russillo’ ESPN radio broadcast. Fitting said essentially the same things on the radio he said in the USA Today article.

“Football in Fargo”
By Tom Rinaldi

------------------------------------------------
On GameDay, Gene Wojciechowski did an excellent video on great I-AA/FCS players over the years. His closing line was “… and just to be fair, we’ll spot you a touchdown.”
I tried to find it on ESPN but apparently they don’t have it posted yet. It’s worth watching if/when ESPN puts it on their web site.

-------------------------------------------------

The segment they did on FCS quarterbacks only mentioned one Big Sky quarterback and it wasn’t McGhee or Johnson. It was EWU’s Adams. That’s what happens in our ‘what have you done lately’ world when you go on the road in week 1 and beat a Top 25 BCS school and rack up 518 yards in total offense in the process.

State picked the wrong year to buy out a game.

Yep. That sign will have huge ramifications on the MSU program.

The sign is merely a symbol of the cowardly nature of an entire program. Lil' bro is a lil' bitch. Always has been, always will be. The sign brings awareness, and I respect it.

Nice job NDSU fans! You made a very good impression for FCS.
Sure wish we would have added all the Dakota schools when we had a chance. Oh no says Fullerton and BSC Presidents, great decision!
Personally I would rather see UM and MSU and NDSU in the MVC. At least in the MVC we would be with other schools that have fan bases that care about there teams and show up.
There's no one in Portland that really gives a rip about PSU same goes for UNC, ISU,SAC.
The BSC members are mainly in states with FBS teams and take a back seat. Granted you have some of the same in the MVC but there fans really seem to care and take pride in there teams.

True 'dat!

I saw a sign on Gameday this morning that said: "Rock Out With Your Brock Out!"

Some very funny and creative folks in Fargo!

Well done, NDSU fans!

Gameday was great on Saturday.

6-7K people down for the festivities.

The only 2 fanbases in the FCS that could represent the true nature of FCS football would be U of Montana and NDSU.

Wa-Grizz would be a great atmosphere for Gameday also.

BTW, loved watching the Grizz kick the sh** out of the who on TV....
