Today's new RPI has the griz as a 14 seed playing UCLA. This could be a decent matchup. A 14 seed beats a 3 seed about every 5 years. The last time it happened your asking? 5 Years ago - Weber State vs. North Carolina

The last time a 14 seed beat a 3 seed was last yearh when Bucknell upset Kansas.

your right, your right. I was reading ESPN this morning and that was the last they mentioned. Thats my bad

FOX Sports also has the Griz (#14) against UCLA (#3) in San Diego. Remember, UCLA's coach, Ben Howland, used to coach NAU before going to PITT and then UCLA.

Howland was on ESPN Radio a while back when they were asking him about Stanford. Commentator basically said Stanford can't be any good, because they lost to Montana.

Howland basically didn't say much about Stanford, but had a lot to say about Montana and the BSC. He said he used to coach in the BSC, and it is a very under-rated conference. About Montana, he said "anyone who would voluntarily to up there and play Montana is crazy. They have a former NBA veteran in Krysko, who is doing all the right things." He went on to say that Montana was one of the next schools you would be hearing a lot about.
