Spent the last 3 years at Eastern. Not sure how I feel about this.

The concern about being able to hire a quality DC was the instability of Kenney's situation with UM. If there's anyone in the Big Sky who has a more unstable situation than BK, it's Aaron Best....I can't imagine he coaches past this year.

4-3 base is what I saw. 4-2-5 at times. Flexible is what I would call it. Some good games some not but not top athletes

Eastern's defense did get better as the year went on, but man I'm a little nervous about this. I agree with Mavman that he didn't exactly have the highest caliber of players, but there were some absolute eyesore results out there. IDK, I hope he does great but this has me a little puckered at the moment.

I like flexible out of a 4-3 base. If I recall correctly that is what we ran under Semore and Gregorak before Bobby Hauck returned.

It was 22-0 20 minutes into the game and the offense took their foot off the pedal then couldn't get the rhythm back.
Adjustments?
or just out of sync?

I’ll give him the first two games before I judge the hire. More curious if our personnel will fit his scheme. Hopefully there is blending so the best 11 on D are making plays

Yeah doesn't exactly scream a fantastic hire, but maybe he's got the juice for the griz.

I'm super excited about the Cats hiring back Bobby Daly from UTEP, he's probably heir apparent to Vigen.
