I agree, most teams who lose their starting QB don’t miss a beat. I don’t understand why we don’t have 3 or 4 high level QB’s on the same team. It’s so easy to find great QB’s yet somehow we only have 1

This. The griz always had a great backup QB. There were more than a few times when I wished the Cats had their backup. There has never been a better team in the BSC who had a “next man up”. That used to be the griz mantra ESPECIALLY in Bobby’s first tenure. What happened?

According to your logic, UC Davis should be ranked ahead of the Griz.

They played Cal, the Griz failed to play and FBS team this year so win or lose UC Davis is up one.

Then they played within 2 points of the #1 team in the nation. That is followed up with a five point loss to the #5 team… following the logic, they have only lost by 7 point to #1and #5, they lost to the #2 team but then they have played all three top 5 teams UNLIKE the Griz who have only played Sac and Weber so far. FURTHERMORE the Griz are gonna get their butts handed to them by the cats based on their performance and the fact the Griz have ZERO offense without LJ.

I spend all day Saturday flipping through all of the FCS games.

I stand behind what I said. MSU is gonna beat the grizzlies this year.

Why? The Griz have zero offense without LJ and you can bet money real money, IF Johnson manages to not get injured more than he already is prior to the sparring session bc it ain’t gonna be much of a brawl this year, there is gonna be someone or someone(s) are gonna cheap shot Johnson. It’s the cats. You KNOW someone on that team will play dirty.

Why shouldn’t someone take a shot at Johnson, ensuring a win? They know the Griz can barely manage to move the ball any other direction than backwards if LJ isn’t in the game.

Bob and Timm’s offense is so impotent that Viagra can’t help them.

The Griz will are gonna drop to the 15 or 16 spot on Monday, maaaybe 17 but I doubt it. There were enough losses by #’s 14,15, 17, and 19 to cushion the blow.

You know the real truth? It doesn’t matter about the “if’s” or the score differences and blaming a loss on a couple of questionable calls is just weak. Many of the voters have become convinced the Griz are a paper Tiger and they’re right. The absolute incompetence of Bob and company to have a WB that can step in and keep moving the ball without missing a beat is… despicable as alumni, a fan, and financial supporter of the program.

You need to quit living in the past Payton. Bob isn’t the magic man and really never was. He never won the . That’s what matters. We had a program that was good enough to be the rent-a-bridesmaid for eight years. Bob has NEVER been able to get it done and it doesn’t matter if you’re #2.

Living in Ohio and watching the Ohio State University has shown me what an elite program should be. Mind you I can’t stand the Bucs myself, but the fans here DEMAND and EXPECT results from their coaches and players. These folks understand football on a level that I have only seen when I lived I. Texas.

Then you have our super fans like you. Who have this false belief this team is something it’s not.

Excuses are unacceptable. Losers and soccer moms support losers. It’s not the players faults they are losing. Those men are playing the guts out on that field and they are being let down by an absolute Sh1t show of a head coach and OC.

Naw man…. Sorry, this isn’t just about athletics or competition. This is a business. It’s a brand that has real world effects on the economy of the University, Missoula, the state have forty years of my life invested in this team, along with six figures.

I don’t care if you’re myopic mind isn’t able to comprehend that there are people who do know the FCS outside of the Grizzlies. I live in the middle of the Missouri Valley, Ohio Valley, CAA, and big south.

I know Bob. I thought he was an arrogant jerk when I had the misfortune of talking to him occasionally at Washington Elementary where our kids went to school together and when Wayne came begging to pass the fee increases and ticket prices to help fund the stadium expansion, Bob was too good to come by and at least say hello, or for that matter thank you.

That’s an opinion not a fact so I’m not sure how to reply other than to disagree. We will see how Weber does. We did beat Weber. Sounds like sac gave up 2 INT’s that lead to touchdowns in the 4th. Wasn’t close until then. That’s the way games go I guess.

Time to move on and give November a shot!
