I agree, most teams who lose their starting QB don’t miss a beat. I don’t understand why we don’t have 3 or 4 high level QB’s on the same team. It’s so easy to find great QB’s yet somehow we only have 1

Nobody is saying that. But this offense doesn’t just “miss a beat”…it completely shuts down. Does that seem normal or acceptable to you?

I've been saying this about rosenbauch since he was hired and pease is not any better. Like it or not Phoenice is the best offensive coach on the staff and should be immediately made OC.

If he’s not an FCS level QB, but is the 2nd best QB on the roster according to the coaches, that’s quite the indictment on the recruiting effort and ability here by the coaches.

Yes. It happens at literally every level of football. 90% of teams don’t have a tight QB competition have huge drop offs when their guy gets hurt.

Lucas Johnson is the key to this team. If he is playing your are a totally different team. Idaho is a tough matchup and will be in years ahead.

Won’t take much to get back on track.

According to your logic, UC Davis should be ranked ahead of the Griz.

They played Cal, the Griz failed to play and FBS team this year so win or lose UC Davis is up one.

Then they played within 2 points of the #1 team in the nation. That is followed up with a five point loss to the #5 team… following the logic, they have only lost by 7 point to #1and #5, they lost to the #2 team but then they have played all three top 5 teams UNLIKE the Griz who have only played Sac and Weber so far. FURTHERMORE the Griz are gonna get their butts handed to them by the cats based on their performance and the fact the Griz have ZERO offense without LJ.

Griz have lost to 3 top teams, 2 on the road, by a total of 17, and you think the offense looks like it hasn't played football?
