Eastwood

Eastwood was very instrumental on that last drive. Had some strong runs, caught a couple of passes, ran hard for extra yards. In fact, we would not have been on the one foot line if not for his efforts. And, he actually scored the winning TD absent the questionable time out.

Lots of folks share responsibility for the fumble - predictable play calling, terrible blocking, etc. The frosh ran for over 500 yards this year. He will be a 1000 yard rusher, steady pass catcher, with an improved oline - his future looks very bright....

Zing, why are you running down Calhoun? He played his heart out for the Griz.
I guess he ran out of heart for the last two games. It cost us.

No, what cost us is a coach who wouldn't let a talented kid trade 2 games, both of which should have been easy wins, for an entire season.

Easy to demonize a kid after-the-fact. You don't see me on here demonizing Eastwood. No need to thank me, I'm just demonstrating adult behavior.

How would letting Calhoun have a schollie next year have helped us this year?

Are you trying to be funny, or are you just plain stupid?

I think alot of coaches would have done what Hauck apparently did. My only gripe is that, after the dsiusssion, Calhoun didn't play 2 more games this year, which I think would have been at least 3 more games.

When it comes down to it that is what pisses me off the most. I’m thinking it would have been 4 games though.

It would not have.

So let me ask you, how did allowing Sean Anderson to RS (or ANY of the redshirting freshman), help us this year?

Sometimes you have to take short-term losses to get long-term gains. Trading 2 games for 11 for one of you best offensive players seems an absolute automatic to me. And perhaps more importantly, how did kicking him off the team/allowing him to leave the team help us in either year?

Simply out of curiosity, how many games next year do you think we'll wish had Calhoun?

Huh? I thought the discussion was about Calhoun.

Man, it's clear you never played a team sport.

When are we going to meet, to discuss toughness? That's what you wanted, right?

Uhhh, it is about Calhoun. Go take your meds.

Then why are you bringing up Sean Anderson. See your quote, which you conveniently omitted in your last post:

"So let me ask you, how did allowing Sean Anderson to RS (or ANY of the redshirting freshman), help us this year?"

I can't wait until we get the "Boy, we could have had Calhoun" after every single game next season. Should be great.

Uhhh, because he's redshirting. Which goes directly to your question about "helping us this year". Sometimes you take short term losses for long-term gains.

It ain't fuckin' rocket surgery.

It ain't f***[*]' rocket surgery.

What does that have to do with the Calhoun situation? Go take your meds.

Hauck has already moved on..the Calhoun train has come and gone..the team will move forward
instead of looking back!..championship teams will always have a core of discipline, committed
team players not entitlement guys...Hauck knows this..onward!

Good point. And, in Everett's case, and he will also diss the Big Sky and, on occasion, will suggest that UM move up.

Wow. If you can't figure it out, I can't help you. That's second grade level shit there.

And I’l chime in with how stubborn Hauck is/was.

It’s great.

He may be stubborn. Many coaches are. But, why do you say that? I'm curious.
