Eastwood was very instrumental on that last drive. Had some strong runs, caught a couple of passes, ran hard for extra yards. In fact, we would not have been on the one foot line if not for his efforts. And, he actually scored the winning TD absent the questionable time out.

Lots of folks share responsibility for the fumble - predictable play calling, terrible blocking, etc. The frosh ran for over 500 yards this year. He will be a 1000 yard rusher, steady pass catcher, with an improved oline - his future looks very bright....

How would letting Calhoun have a schollie next year have helped us this year?

Are you trying to be funny, or are you just plain stupid?

I think alot of coaches would have done what Hauck apparently did. My only gripe is that, after the dsiusssion, Calhoun didn't play 2 more games this year, which I think would have been at least 3 more games.

Sometimes you have to take short-term losses to get long-term gains. Trading 2 games for 11 for one of you best offensive players seems an absolute automatic to me. And perhaps more importantly, how did kicking him off the team/allowing him to leave the team help us in either year?

Simply out of curiosity, how many games next year do you think we'll wish had Calhoun?

Hauck has already moved on..the Calhoun train has come and gone..the team will move forward
instead of looking back!..championship teams will always have a core of discipline, committed
team players not entitlement guys...Hauck knows this..onward!
