EWU gets all their good guys back, and now we're playing a sudden top-10 talent team. I don't think we'll get as abused up front as we did at Sac, but trying to contain the EWU offense at full strength is gonna be a tall task.marceagfan5 said:As always, great insight Brint.
As for EWU...they will be as healthy as they’ve been all year. EB3 was hurt during the JSU game, you could see the effects the next week against Idaho and then he was knocked out for a few series at Sac. He will be back to 100% this week which he really hasn’t been all year.
Easterns three best defensive players haven’t played besides 1-2 games, all 3 should be back this week. Ojoh is arguably the best player in the BSC on D. Losing him at JSU was a big blow. He should be back Saturday.
Eastern still has top 10 talent, but injuries and $hitty play have cost them games they should have won.
Griz look to be a tough team again which is great for the conference. Hope sneeds injury isn’t too bad, would like to see him play this week. Definitely the best game of the year for EWU and us fans...love the rivalry. Best of luck from here on out but Go Eags this week!!
How does anyone here (EWU fans and Montana fans) know that EWU is getting guys back or who those guys are? I haven't seen anything? This week's two-deep hasn't been announced yet.
And even when it is announced, it will likely say Ojoh is good to go, which the last three have, yet he hasn't seen a snap in those games.
Point being. We're all speculating here.
My bigger picture comment, I'm scared as hell for this game. Montana's strengths (WRs) against our weaknesses (secondary) spells big trouble for us.
my guess is, we learned from our mistakes in that game and should play a much tighter game.
Hopefully the secondary keeps everyone in front of them or at least even with them!
