Early Analysis of Team

Do you have anything positive say. All you do is complain about everything. It’s the first game of the season. Do you not enjoy Montana football? Sounds like you need to find something you actually enjoy doing or watching.
You saw his screen name right? Assuming you’re old enough to get the reference. And if that wasn’t enough to know he’s a troll, maybe his doctored avatar of Bobby. I think I would just hit the ignore button and then not deal with him.

Well one thing is for certain.

We won't win a National Championship with Hauck coaching the team. It's weird to have a favorite team and know from the first kick off exactly how far you will go.

Your attitude took the fun out of it for me. Bobby is the best coach for our program. It is tough getting to a championship game. He has been close several time. I would not count him out yet.

The funny part is that his description is how fans of all but about 4 teams feel. They ALL know they’re not going to the natty. They ALL know (deep in their hearts) they’re not winning a Natty. But they go out and root and cheer anyways.

Anyway, we’re 1-0. On to UND.

Bobby is good but far from the best coach of this program. Reed and Glen are the best in program history, if Bobby could win the big one he would be on top.

Oline is dogshit. Can’t control a thing. If this unit doesn’t do better, this team is done. To be this close with this team is embarrassing. And if you want to bring in stats to dispute this, you’re a moron. Offense is terrible.
Offense is fine. Good at times. O-line is good. Running game was mostly good. QB’s are mostly accurate and can run and scramble.

Ah Yat needs some serious work… Fife looked alright and the defense was looking slow. Going to be interesting to see when Wilson, Bergen, and Grossman get back as the offense is pretty mediocre without those guys. Need to rely on the run more and need to use the receivers talent.
Wilson plays defense. What work does Ah Yat need?

They had a good gameplan and executed it about as well as they could hope. They are a veteran team and it showed. Griz were missing a lot of pieces, but flashed what they will be by the end of the season. The O-line performed well despite what many on here are saying. There will be some growing pains, but this team is loaded. The young QB looked fast and capable. Fife came in and looked decent as well. Any win in division 1 football is a good win. Griz have a coaching staff any FCS team would kill to have. Things will be okay, lol.

Sorry if this info was posted but I didn't see it. But was Riley Wilson dressed on game night? Or was he in street clothes like Bergen? I hope Bergen is ok. I'm sure it's not that serious but I had a feeling he wouldn't play last night when I saw him wearing a blue jersey in one of the practices.

Tony Clifton is a character created by comedian and performance artist Andy Kaufman in the late 1970s.
Clifton would often attempt to improvise comical lyrics that were intentionally unfunny before giving up entirely without seeming to care. Clifton also tended to randomly insult patrons, passing off the abuse as the "comedy" portion of his act.

I truly appreciate our very own Tony for his wry satirical insulting humorous posts. Take them for the trolling they are. Consider the source.

Ah Yat just shows inexperience. He tried to do too much and escape the pocket at times but was a little late and it would result in a sack or almost a disastrous fumble. Fife is the guy… managed it well and looked in control.
Ah Yat was sacked once. He wasn't showing a lot of inexperience. I assume you didn't watch game, or much of it. Or, you wouldn't have said that. He didn't flush too early or too late. Yes, needs to avoid fumble, but he had gained 18 yards on that play.

I was at the game. I believe he was sacked for -12 after the interception and then on his fumble he was nearly sacked and it caused a loss of -18. Both of those he tried to escape the pocket but was too late. Fumbles was on own 8 and would’ve been tough to come back from.

I’m no expert but 9-19 with probably the best receivers in the FCS (granted 2-3 drops) is pretty poor.

Hoopsfan missed a few plays while catching up his posting of the final drive of the NDSU Colorado game for all those that don't have ESPN.
