Any out of conference win by a team we play once conference starts is good news.

It's not like if they lose they are somehow ommited from our conference schedule. I would rather have a chance at beating a team that won against ANY FBS school, or one that beat another ranked FCS team.

AG states win....good for us, if EWU had pulled it off or Weebs finds a way to top Nevada, all good for us, and for our conference in general.

This EWU loss could Trainwreck their season going into Big Sky play , opening up more opportunities for a team like Montana to win back the Big Sky Conference. I see that as a potential big win for Griz nation. Our conference overall is doing fine this year take a look at all our victories against MVFC teams, and take a deep breath, the Big Sky and the Griz are going to be okay...

You mean all those wins against MVC bottom feeders as opposed to a possible win against a playoff team...solid argument.

Seems to me that neither of those things is a positive from a Conference perspective, but whatever makes you feel good.

From a Griz perspective EWU choking in the 4th is a positive for an Egrizzer as this is a Montana Grizzly Football forum not a Big Sky Conference forum..

Guess this isn't a FCS forum...and a EWU win today could have been a positive for the Griz also.

The way I see it.. this is a Grizzly Football forum First and Foremost and a Big Sky Conference forum second, third you could say FCS forum

Honestly, EWU losing non-conference games doesn’t benefit the Griz in any way. The Griz hold their own playoff destiny in their own hands, but when it comes to playing teams like EWU head-to-head, a Griz win looks much better for playoff seeding if EWU and other Big Sky teams we play don’t lose their non conference games.

You do realize that the Griz can stand up and represent the Conference even if every BSC team wins all there OOC games...and then benefit from all those victories.

We don't usually get a whole lot of love from the Playoff committee each year anyway I'm terms of playoff spots, I like EWU losing TBH.

Uhmmmmm....EWU doesn't need to lose to a ranked team from another conference for us to step up. How about we just step up and start beating some of these very good BSC teams?

We'll see. Eagles defense looked squishy and vulnerable in the 2nd half I think Big Sky teams have lots of good juicy film to look at and exploit against the Eagles this year

All these negative Nanny's man why don't you just put on an EWU jersey, poor Eagles and poor Big Sky ... our destiny will be determined by how we play in conference but I stand by my claim that this Eagles loss could be good in the long run this year for the Griz . It hurts their swagger and morale.
