Jordan Tripp has stood out in every way all of the aforementioned players reinell mentioned have. Case in point, everyone in the stadium KNOWS, if the Griz don't block the Cal Poly FG try in the fourth quarter, we all go home. Tripp, who normally lines up on the left side of the FG block unit tells coaches "let me line up on the other side, I can get to it. He said he saw a weakness on that side. First and foremost, only the best football players are smart enough to see something like that in the first place. Second, he didn't just SAY he was going to block it, he actually went out and did it. And not in some random situation. He blocked a kick when the ONLY chance the Griz had to win a game was for the kick to be blocked, or missed. I would say that's above and beyond "standing out".
