FYI, all pain killers (benzodiazapenes) have erectile dysfunction as a side effect. So, even if inhibition is lessened, it would still be hard to rape someone. Thus, you would really have to put in the effort to rape while on benzo's.

To read this another way, Beau was making up a really lame excuse to explain his actions to the rape victim.

Did not know that, thanks for sharing.
I've got erections pretty easily on PKs.. So I don't know about all that.

More difficult (hard) and impossible are two different things.

Ok then, the few times I've needed painkillers I was not exactly in a situation that found me needing to... ahem... perform at all, it was post-surgery in both cases.

Actually pain killers are not benzodiazapenes. Benzos are for anxiety like ativan and valium. Some doctors prescribe them for muscle relaxants and sleeping aids. Side effects from them are horrible, especially when mixed with alcohol and withdrawel is a bitch. Narcotics like Vicodin(hydrodocone) and Percocet(oxycodone) have horrible side effects as well. Both have addictive qualities.

............anyone seen Playa Rape?

"Bo Donaldson is a good kid I doubt he raped anyone, I have looked him in the eye and hes just a good kid"

Great call you lying, slimeball, POS......

Here's another example of Alpha's dishonesty. He often does this with posts and PM's. Here's what I said:

"I know nothing about the facts, but I know Donaldson and I have doubts that rape occurred or that this will stick. I think Donaldson is a good kid. I know good kids can get caught up with date rape-type things too, but my instincts tell me that he didn't rape anyone."

http://www.egriz.com/grizboard/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=55600&p=729133#p729133" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I later said this: "I assume the police/prosecutor have tried to make sure it isn't a false allegation. Whether it's a "decent chance" or not, I don't know. I assume the affidavit submitted on Monday for the initial appearance will present a good case to support the charge. It may even sound like a slam dunk to some, but note that it is the police/prosecutor's version of the incident, and won't be fair or balanced. There may be things stated that wouldn't be admitted or stand up in court. The defense side and lawyer will almost certainly have a difference version or view of the facts, even though they won't submit anything in writing or probably say much. I assume there will be a good defense lawyer or law firm. People and lawyer with criminal experience or knowledge will almost immediately be able to see most of the strengths and weaknesses of the case."

As usual from seeing Beau's Griz photo used with the story - the crime is connected to the costume. Beau Donaldson the football player wasn't wearing his uniform when he commited the rape. This is an act of an individual who just happens to have an athletic scholarship. I've seen this point made before and I agree 100%. Too say this reflects badly on the football program bothers me... when in fact, it should reflect badly on his personal values and be an embarrassment to his family. Bad life decisions and bad blocking/tackling are two different things.

Best post EVER by Griz Mayor....this issue is a reflection on the indivudual, not the football program at UM.

Lol I used to take Pks quite a bit, because long story short i was on the hood of my bros car when I was 8 he was going fast, slammed on breaks, hit me in the back with the car and then almost ran over my arms. But ever since then my back has been seriously fucked up. I haven't took Pks in a couple years though and just deal with the pain.

believe me, Cats fans not only think Pflu will be fired but they think NCAA sanctions will be levied against the UM program before the 2012 season begins. And when that doesn't happen they will say it's only because Doug Fullerton somehow has the power to stop it.

I'm still waiting for someone to start a thread blaming this on the Griz coaches and suggesting we fire Pflugrad.
PFLUGRAD COACHS PLAYERS HOW TO RAPE AND SHOULD BE FIRED!

lol

A kids personal decision has nothing to do with anyone else. End of story.

Seems like all the comments from the past blaming every incident concerning Cat players as a problem of the program/school and not the individual.

i know it was just a few of our posters, but there were those blaming msu's problems on the coaches and system, not the player. so i won't be surprised if msu posters do the same as a way to get even.

our football program isn't at fault directly, but if the investigation shows that it wasn't following through and has "gaps" as the first report said, then those within the program involved in that will be partly to blame.

I guess this blows some poster's theories that Donaldson was offered to MPD as a patsy to clear up the mess that the university is right now. I have heard some people in Missoula were claiming O'Day and Foley actually set Donaldson up. Those people are as mentally sick as Beau himself apparently is.

Bigsky23 and Cats2506 warns on Bobcatnation that they know this is the only the tip of the iceberg. I won't be shocked by anything at this point.

really, why don't you provide a link where I commented on any of these rape incidents, other than to point out playerreps obvious hypocrisy

Note to other grizidiots, good smack requires at least a little truth for it to be effective, if you have to make it all up it just makes you look like an idiot. :thumb:

Carry on...................

That said, when student-athletes garner academic honors or do great things in the community (that have nothing to do with football), we all definitely want that goodwill to be attached to the athletic program. We can't have it both ways.

It may not be fair (I know MSU fans would certainly have loved to segregate football activities from off-the-field activities for a whole truckload of our players several years ago), but that's just the reality of it.

When a college football team goes out and proactively recruits a player to come to your school to be a football player (essentially, to be a face for marketing the University), ALL aspects of that person's personal and on-the-field life (good and bad) are going to be attached to the team and the school.

Well, that this kid played football at UM has absolutely nothing to do with the alleged rape (it does have lots to do with why this is front page news). But if you don't think this reflects poorly on the UM football program, you're not paying attention.

Yes, right. My bad, but with that said Narcotics also have ED side effects.

BAC you hit that out of the park! The football program is not quilt of rape but they very well might contribute to a sense of entitlement that athlete's might have as well as fans who worship them.

Yes, yes I do.

Clearly the first part was a joke because WaGriz was asking for it. And then I typed up some common sense.

Do you have a hard time with reading and comprehending? Or are you just a jackass with no sense of humor?

Do the crime and DO THE TIME.

Individual responsibility. Dont blame the coach, the school, or fans for your actions or the actions of others.

Let the justice system run its course.
