It's 31-14 UCD. This is a rivalry game and Cal Poly is UC Davis's little brother and Sac State is their little brother too.

All of these "upsets" just shows how pathetic the Big Sky is. The only really quality team is EWU, when Adams is healthy. Still their defense is so bad that they will have a difficult time against one of the Eastern teams.

EWU's defense is so pathetic that in its last 5 BSC games they've given up 21 points/game, and held the Griz to 26. This was a good argument early in the season. but not now, checks your stats and get back to me, LOL! Also, with CPU and NAU losing , they are out. With a Griz win over MSU, it will be EWU/MSU/UM/ISU in the playoffs.

Using the UM offense which been historically bad (by UM standards) this season as a measuring stick isn't maybe the best thing to do.

However, I'd pointed this out in EWU's scouting report, once they got past their grueling opening portion of the season and played a bunch of games against so-so teams their defensive numbers leveled out.

4th in rushing defense
7th in pass defense
6th in pass defense efficiency
3rd in total interceptions
5th in sacks

To say that NAU has limited presence on the internet forums is a diplomatic way of stating the obvious but Lumberjacks fans on facebook (NAU football and NAU athletics) seem pretty pissed off.

I think NAU overachieved this year and a sign of a young, inexperienced team is playing up to higher ranked teams and playing down to lower ranked teams. That's NAU to a T this season.
