From Weber State to an NBA Champion, Dillon Jones wins 2025 NBA title - Weber State University Athletics
From Weber State to an NBA champion. It's been quite a year for Weber State legend Dillon Jones .
Maybe. Hope so.Traded to the Wizards. More opportunity for him there.
And guess what this could mean: Lillard returns to his native Bay Area to play for the Warriors while the Bucks pick up his salary, sparing the Warriors their cap problem.Good points City. Although the college game is vastly different from the NBA, building from a family point of view is a good way to look at it. If everything evolves in the direction it is headed, collective bargaining and longer term contracts will be a thing in college sports. It might open up the door for trades, buyouts, and other NBA like activities. That would be totally different from the 100% free agency of the portal.
Weber has always been about recruiting freshmen first and then filling in the gaps with transfers. I think UM is much the same. Last year was a truly disappointing thing for Weber, but most years that formula has worked well. I feel that is why three or four programs around the BSC are generally at the top. If it was strickly about getting the best talent, PSU would always be one of the top teams. It's really about getting the best guys who fit together as a team, like a family. Well, some families. ;-)
Don't do Klay like that! Love that guy.And guess what this could mean: Lillard returns to his native Bay Area to play for the Warriors while the Bucks pick up his salary, sparing the Warriors their cap problem.
Forget the “Splash Brothers.” Lillard and Steph could be the “Tsunami Brothers!”
Yeah, me too. Anyway, more likely Dame signs with Portland. He loves it there. And the great irony is that thanks to his being traded, the Blazers now have the pieces around him that they lacked before. They’re now a team with a very high ceiling. Dame might be just that piece to get them to a championship.Don't do Klay like that! Love that guy.
