Every Bison fan I met, and most were after the game, were nice, friendly, polite and fun. All hid their disappointment. Most were complimentary of Missoula, the Griz fans and the Griz. None said anything negative. I enjoyed talking to them.

The Bison tailgating encampment on the south side of the main campus, along Beckwith, was large and impressive. RV's, buses and a large number of vehicles. Was active when I first biked by at 10 or so.

My group commented, when walking around the stadium, that with these 2 fan bases, this game could be called the Down Home Bowl or the Redneck Bowl. That's not intended as a negative comment.

Thanks for the bump, Hammer. I'd honestly forgotten how stunningly brilliant I, CDA and snap were/are. Apparently it just comes so easily to some that it soon gets lost in the vast sea of brilliance spewing forth.
