Baer brought the 3-3-5 in 2020 or 2021. Hauck has been recruiting the hybred athletes since about then.
 
Somewhat glad I missed the game based on the results (stuck in the Hospital all day) but I mentioned it on another thread. Unless we get Ronnie Bradford back we should be looking at a different scheme.

Did you watch the game? That was a first class ass kicking. Until bobby goes there will never be a payoff road win. Bobby lacks the chops to coach a team that can beat a good team without the substantial advantage Wa Griz stadium gives them. I'm not good with that.

I guess it depends on how you define mediocrity. In many Griz fans minds, mine included if I'm honest, mediocrity is: not beating the cats on a regular basis, and not having any realistic chance to win the nattty either. Now, I'm also willing to concede that's not the literal definition of mediocrity but it is to many of us.

Everyone always says oh my we had gubner and yes he was all world and helped the d do its thing but that whole run was Bergen on special teams, people forget are defense wasn't all worldly and stopped Furman or ndsu to win the game instead it went overtime and at those time Bergen scored

We won't win with a 3-3-5, no one ever has

We need to reset and change it up, you know what I like!!! A bobcats defense that just stays at home everyone keeps everything in front of them and they don't have to do crazy blitzes try to throw the offense off, just good old defensive football "Nick Saban style"

Not sure who you’re arguing with. I hate the 3-3-5. I was just pointing out that the 1 good year we had with it was because of Gubs.
