When they play someone with any relevance, I might take a look. But seriously?

Are you saying playing an FBS team that went to a bowl five straight seasons has no relevance? We had better stats against them than Texas Tech had the week before. I think there is relevance there. Also, Monmouth would have probably beaten ND.

If you had any credibility in this thread - you just lost it. Monmouth beating UND. Seriously - take a break, have a Gatorade, watch that shitty video someone in Bozo produced and then come back to your computer. Wow.
33, you lost that game. Yes you played them and lost. It may have been by 1, but the cats still got outdone. And your last comment is funny. Monmouth couldn't beat themselves. Monmouth is now 0-3 with the latest loss to Lehigh. The over/under would be close to 30 vs UND. The Fighting bobcats couldn't even put up 30 against a DII team. UND might not be ranked but they did receive votes before the Griz showed up. How many votes did Monmouth get?

So, if I read your reasoning correctly, the Cats loss to SMU is still a loss just like Cat/Griz 2010 and 2012, even though they were close games, and that the loser shouldn't complain about how they should have won? It is so weird how this reasoning applies only when the Griz have close losses to the Cats but in no other context . . .

According to many cat fans, Monmouth would beat App, so it's obvious that they'd beat UND.

Lesson: You don't need to be intelligent to be a football fan.

Monmouth would not beat App. Even though it is hard to examine specific matchups based on cursory perceptions of your rival playing a specific team, it looks like many Griz fans can conclude with absolute authority that they are the best team in the country and will beat NDSU, if not Alabama.

So you're right, Everett. Even though I regularly disagree with you, you and AlphaGriz1 are still intelligent football fans and that sets you apart from the Pussycatkillers and NLGriz fans of the world. I'm not saying Bobcats don't have their own blow hole fans, but I can't come to any conclusion about what Monmouth would do to anybody because they were so bad it isn't even possible to evaluate their talent beyond saying it was shitty.

With out DM I don't see any way the Cats offense will exploit UNDs defense. Your receivers are slow and your O-line isn't going to be running over anyone, not even Mesa Prep School. Please tell me what your going to do against UND BigSky33? Unless your defensive ends have a career day against UND, Im taking the Wioux in that game!!!

Hmmm, well we thrashed them last year after they beat you. So I guess a role reversal is possible in that they could beat us after you thrashed them, but... Nah, I don't see it happening. We are too talented. Bunch of playmakers on O and our D is looking solid.

Your D is looking solid because you shut out a high school team? Congrats, but UND and SFA will be a bit tougher challenge for them.

Looking past SFA are we? If you can't run the ball down there you will have more than a game than you think. :ugeek:

It makes no sense for any cat fan to come on this board and smack talk with the ridiculous cupcake schedule they have this year.

If MSU starts kicking ass in regular BSC conference games then come back and talk. Otherwise take your NDSU buy out pussy asses outta here.

We know The Griz will be 3-0 to start conference play. Will the cats be 3-1 or 2-2? The way they played last week I'd be concerned about SFA.

Hmmm. It's dangerous to go against PR who touts Monmouth as a rising star in the East.

This just in: SFA will be every bit as bad as Monmouth; even Weber beat them.

Everybody on eGriz loves the past - that is unless the Bobcats are talking about it. You see, the Griz have such a fabled history it makes them the only fan base where it is acceptable to talk about the past. Everyone else needs to "stop living in the past," especially if the past is before 1995.

I think the cats will beat both SFA and UND. But there are concerns with their team, and even cat fans are beginning to acknowledge it.

UND did not have a defense. Their DBs were awful. On a few of those TD passes by JJ there wasn't a ND defender in sight on TV. The receivers were wide open. However, JJ makes a big difference in your offense. Head and shoulders above last year.
WTH does UND's defense have to do with this discussion? (Are you out of meds?) Last time I checked both of these players play on defense -- or do they? Maybe they play on offense and THAT is why they have so many TFLs...? But seriously, their stats depend upon the strength of the offense so arguing what JJ did is a non sequitur at best and plainly stupid at worst. Let's see how they do when they play teams that can actually score touchdowns.

Of course there are concerns with our team, all teams have concerns. Namely for us at this point is we're trying to figure out how to be dominant with our all american, record breaking 5th year senior leader QB out for awhile. We've had a pretty rough year with injuries so far. Fortunately we're getting most of our stars back throughout the season. If we are close to full strength in November, we'll be tough to beat down the stretch.
