DC Possibilities

I assume there will soon be announcements of at least one other departure f(or FBS).

I assume he means Legi. Huge loss if it is but not unexpected I guess. Guy has been so good for so long that moving up/on was inevitable.

What other issue?

Lets just say that Ty more or less had to make a change, now Ty has a wife and two small children, and knew he was going to need a job, and the only job offer he had was the Bozeman job, and I'm sure he will buy into the staff and will earn his salary and take care of his family...

I wish him well, and it is sad that many in this forum denigrate him, he does no deserve that, he did well for the Griz, and circumstances changed.

I think his move was made of necessity, I don't think he wanted to be cut like some players were.

I don't agree with spsyk often....but he is dead on with this one.....

That's very interesting. It makes more sense to me if this is how it played out than just suddenly jumping ship to your rival. Only piece of that that doesn't seem to fit though is being called a traitor and all that good stuff and not defending it. If you got told to walk or you'd be made to walk, and then your own fans rubbed your name in the dirt, I would think you'd come out with what really happened. If you don't have your good name, then what do you really have?

Then again, maybe he is an adult and doesn't feel the need to defend himself against people verbally denigrating him anonymously on a fan message board. Regardless of what we think, fan message boards represent a very small percentage of fans, and are generally not representative of what the majority of people think. We are not that important in the grand scheme of things.

Some people would consider that "taking the high road"....

Why post that you know something without saying specifically what what it is that you know? This is a rhetorical question, because everyone knows it's basically about ego. If you're going to post that you know something, either say what it is or don't post at all. It's a waste of your time and everyone else's IMO.

I wasn't referring to folks here. Of course Ty could give a crap what we all think. If you saw Facebook, Cat-Griz insider, Twitter, and the Missoulian comments the dude got slammed. Got chewed up and spit out. If it was circumstances beyond your control, you'd defend your name and say I was shown the door. If it was your own choice to jump ship then you'd take the abuse....like he is now.

If the truth be known, Semore has been the DC, since the PSU game, Ty has been DC in name only, as well as another issue, that's why he is in Bozeman,

Best for all.

After all, Ty's inept defense, was responsible for UM high power offense of six yards rushing 6 points against NDSU.

TG had other opportunities besides the Cats, but thought joining the new Cat coach and developing staff was such a good opportunity for him that he eventually sucked it up and decided to take the Cat job. And it fit with his family.

What other DC job was Ty offered.

You have the motivation to beat the stitt out of your old team and prove that you were the reason the defense was so dominate these past few years. :thumb:

...but he's not playing the game...and the Griz players have the motivation to kick the 'Catsnot out of the team coached by the guy who abandoned them to move over to the dark side.

Goes both ways.
