watched eastern beat usf..they are very tough. The match up between Breunig & Jois will be exceptional. Jois is strong & quick..and cocky as hell. Griz can compete for conf title. Need a win sunday at Milwaukee!

I don't care for the term "quality loss" either. But, what you just said makes no sense whatsoever! :? Losing a close game to a very good team does not equate to being blown out by a poor team (see bobcatsPlayerRep said:UMGriz75 said:"Quality loss?" That was a terrific game. There is no such thing as a quality loss. UM lost, plain and simple. So what if it was a close game against a terrific team. So what if the Griz played well, even very well much of the time. The team should be judged as if they lost by 25 to a bad team--because all losses are equal (and bad).
I don't recall the football board thread you allude to. However, I can see your point. Things are a little more black and white (and hysteria freePlayerRep said:GW and G, where were you two when I was making the exact same argument, on the football board, that you two are making now--and some of the dummies were hammering at me? Ha. My post over 75's was intended as a joke, playing off the football discussion. Eventually, there was a whole thread about "quality" losses. That's probably why 75 used that term. I completely agree with you two.
Yes, it was a "tongue in groove" remark.PlayerRep said:That's probably why 75 used that term.
