damn..what a great gut checked, tough as hell group. I didn't think they could play wo Ward. After reading so much s--t about a trial, Mr Williams' bull crap comments, people degrading Griz ball players and young students, it was so rewarding to see a true Montana effort by a group of very, very, tough young men. Congrats to them, Congrats to the great coaching staff, congrats to all UM atheletics! Very sad if Will is gone, as Ward as well , but very encouraged about this new young crop. Gregory plays very good d...Martin will be there--Coleman can get it done. Thank-you for a very entertaining effort! Way to carry Montana...UofM...Griz ..Proud!! ps Jamar is on the ESPN player of the day score sheet! Thank-you again! :clap:

No chance in hell to add that many games. I think if a player plays in 30% of the games he is not eligible for medical redshirt. No matter this year is it for Will. Plus we already have scholarships committed, and still need to free one up for a big man.

Great effort by our team today, but a sad way for Will to end his stellar career as a Griz. Still hoping we can find a way to win our final conference games and host. It's Kareem's show now, but other guys will need to step up.

Great game. Both teams showed a lot of heart (and I nearly lost mine)! Rest assured that several posters on our fan board also commented on the abysmal officiating; I wish they'd been allowed to play. Next year in Missoula will be another great game and I have to think that this game will serve both teams well going into our respective conference tournaments and (hopefully) beyond.

Mentioned the same thing. We have great underclassmen and really showed our depth in that game.

Thanks for the well wishes. You have some great players and a pretty deep team. I felt like we matched up well across the board. It's a shame we will be going into the final stretch without two of our best players. Hope you guys do some damage come tourney time.

I'm no doctor, but wouldn't Cherry have been down or needed help off the floor if he broke his foot. All I am reading here seems to be speculation and then acceptance that he is gone for the season. Anyone have some REAL info to go on?

Nothing is certain until he gets an x-ray but he said it feels the same as the prior injury. I hope he is able to play again because he sure has worn that Montana on his chest well.

Done for the season. I just heard this within the last 10 minutes from someone who knows. He did break it again, not sure how bad this time though.

Not calling you out at all grizd. Just want to clarify that he did say that. Was it a quote after the game or something you caught by watching during the game? I think I will do the best I can at burying my head in the sand until we get confirmation.

If so, it is a great shame and my thoughts go out to Mr. Cherry. It would be a huge blow to the griz and his chance at the NBA. I am sure he won't have any trouble with other pro leagues but being out would make the NBA near impossible.

Ward and Cherry out for the year would be brutal, but I have had a great time watching this team this year and they would still have a chance to host the Big Sky tourney. The team still has some very good talent except for down low. The frontcourt is even looking a little better. I love Martin's potential and while I still think Hutch is an issue he has shown a little more improvement than I would have guessed.
