After the "Missoulian" quote, which rebutted you 100%, there wasn't much else to say except to point out how classless it was to accuse Daum of betraying you by only telling "half the story."HookedonGriz said:4. I chimed in and said folks (didn't point directly at you or anyone else for that matter) were going to feel foolish for pinning blame on coaches, injuries, lack of effort, etc. I was trying to throw you a bone after what I had learned to maybe just leave it all alone
5. You put all your eggs in one basket (his Missoulian quote) and fired shots when you put me on blast and said I was full of crap
According to your earlier comments, even that "half of the story" was false.
So, the "reality" according to you is that "Daum's departure had nothing to do with the Grizzly football or the football program." Then Daum made his statement directly to the contrary. OK, so you cornered yourself and your self-conceited knowledge.
Couldn't really call him an outright liar, could you? But then you came close to the same result by claiming under the same self-assured intimate knowledge that he was only "telling half the truth."
Pray, what motive would Daum have had to tell "only half the truth," and who do you actually presume to be by accusing him of it?
As I have repeatedly noted, there had to have been much larger circumstances motivating this than merely not liking a coach. However, that does not offer any logical argument that a coach -- the football team and the football program -- is not "part" of those circumstances.
Indeed, the evidence for that was provided by Dalton Daum himself.
Now, leave him alone. Your ego isn't worth it.
