if the missoulian truly wants to just do their job, they shouldn't even report on moore meeting with nfl teams. and if they do they need to label him "a fullback from the state of arizona" because i for one am sick and tired of all this "former griz" nonsense...

His point is that Griz players are Griz until they die, even if they do things that we aren't proud of.

It's sad, but that's how it works. You can't praise and claim all the outstanding Griz grads over the years without accepting the ones that screw up. They're all Griz, even if they don't make us proud anymore. And that's why no one should be surprised when "Former Griz" ends up in the headlines when former Griz players do bad things.

I love the way Dan Moore plays the game of football. As a Seahawk fan I've had the pleasure of watching Marshawn Lynch and his backup Robert Turbin run the football and it reminds me of a lot of "Former Griz" Dan Moore.

No problem Putter. I went to high school with Tom and his brother Dick (graduated with Dick). Played football with them back in the late 80's. I actually did not know that Tom taught in Bozeman. He has had a pretty good coaching career.

Nice. They are a great family. Love the house they built for their parents... Bringing Tom into the league was, possibly, the only good thing Petrino did for the NFL :lol: :lol:
