Compare the NDSU defense first game in 2015 to NDSU defense throughout the playoffs. Wasn't the same. This defense has skill players and room to vastly improve. I am still trusting we will see it. And BTW, both Valpo QB's were good at evading rush and very good and accurate throwers. Play calling by Valpo OC was very good, lots of misdirection. One of my bigger concerns was the D not seeming to recognize the run tendency of # 14 . He had lots of room like the kitties QB on multiple keepers.
If the Griz D was going to have a clunker, rather this game than any of the remainders.
