Crowd rules for Griz vs Cat?

Its so precious how some of you guys are still trying to call it griz/Cat. You guys are just so cute, I could just pinch your little cheeks. *pats little brother grizzlies on the head ;)
Its a won/loss record. The Griz have 70 wins versus 35 losses vs. the Cats. Yep, Griz/Cat is the right way to say it. Come back after 35 straight wins and we'll debate the right way to say it.

Holy shit, sometimes I forget that it's that truly lopsided. Wow! I think even USC is only up like 15 on UCLA.

Oh and Cat fans must remain seated and sitting on their hands at all times, and no cowbells!
ummmm not to put a fine point on it JayLarson, but isnt the whole point of cowbells so the cat fans can find their dates?

And I always thought it was the ear tags...

Where is the cat hotties posts. This usually shows up in that area.

There is not sitting down allowed under any circumstances, you have to be loud on every down.
Pretty simple rules I think. Don't bring your young children or people making their first trip to a Griz game unless they are going to scream their asses off. This is not a family friendly game, it could be the last game at WaGriz for the season, so get off your damn asses and make some fricking noise this weekend!!! I have been saving my voice all season for this game.
FTC, and don't forget when he is backed up to the NEZ to return a kick that Brekke #27 backed out on a verbal to the Griz and went to the Cats, so let him hear about it!!

That no sitting down allowed part doesn't seem real handicapped-friendly. :)

If you have a good excuse you can sit down, but you still have to yell, as loud as you can. MSU is starting to think that their crowd is loud, we need to show them what loud really is, they might have us beat on the cold part of cold and loud though.

Army-Navy... Cat-Griz... it's alphabetical... and who gives an eff.

This. It's a sure sign Saturday needs to hurry the eff up and get here when this dead horse starts getting beat again.

As mentioned before, I have tickets in the North endzone upper deck. I have heard from a few people that I should sit somewhere else because the fans in that area might get nasty and it could get ugly. Is it really that bad? I want to enjoy a game with my son. Just don't need him to be in danger. Any thoughts of people that sit in that section.

Just wait until the griz are down big in the 1st quarter. The griz fans will start leaving and you can fill in with other Cat fans throughout the stadium.

I have never had a problem in WA/griz stadium. I've heard murmors behind me when I stood up to cheer a big play, but no one said anything to me. Last game, the gentleman beside me was a little annoyed he was next to a Cat fan at the start of the game, but by the time he left midway through the 4th, he shook my hand and told me good luck in the playoffs. That said, I have always been in the south endzone, not the north so I have no experience there.

The place you have to watch yourself, in my opinion, is the tailgates close to their M and University Center. I have never made it though there with Bobcat stuff on without having insults thrown my way. Its usually only once or twice and its always younger people. They always wait until you have your back turned, but it does happen. (I'm not trying to start anything, I realize people get heckled at MSU too, just saying those tailgates I always seem to get it. It doesn't bug me, but someone with young son might want to avoid it. Maybe they would refrain from heckling people with a kid.) The best fan experience you could get would be to park on the frontage road, and walk in past the Press Box and the walking bridge. You won't be bothered coming in that way. Everyone is a lot friendlier...and less inebriated. And it is a beautiful walk into the stadium along the river.

By all means, come in from the press box foot bridge and stop by our tailgate for cool beverage and some BSing. Can't miss it, Griz Mascots carved bears in truck...good music!

Good to know. Thanks. I expect to be harassed in good fun. I just hope people are OK with me sitting in the North endzone section. I am walking over the bridge. I have somegriz ffriends that tailgate their. Should be a fun day.

Every where we go to griz football games, including Wash/Griz, there are a few rude fans, except Tennessee, they were the nicest hosts I have encountered in college football! Don't get to bent out of shape if someone heckles you, but if it becomes hostile, tell other Griz fans about it and they will fix it...Almost all Griz fans are fantastic people!

Fans will be fine, don't worry about it at all. I'm sure someone will have a potty mouth but they won't hang you over the balcony. We had some sit by us in the new addition a few years ago and they were great. Had they talked trash the whole game it may have been a different story, but they came to enjoy a football game and did.

Good point. Unfortunately, we have our share of idiots. We should be loud and proud, but if you see someone crossing the line, it is up to us to police ourselves first. Be a good host.

Most in the upper portion are not intense. Maybe first 5 rows of the north but not up there. Most griz fans understand at the end of the day it's football and its a dad and son bonding. I hope you enjoy the game and have a blast
