First I would like to give Riley Bradshaw credit today. As someone who was suggesting he was a liability on O against bbq u, the Griz probably lose without his first half tonight.

Secondly, will coach D's celebration with the students after the end of game hub-ub bring in more students based off talk on campus. In a weird way, it may bring students back to b-ball

I am with you on both points. I really like the way Bradshaw has improved as the season has progressed. His is just beginning to realize his potential. You know those students that got the TD treatment will be talking, they will never forget that fire. TD is going to be a special coach!

I could not agree more about Bradshaw. As for TD, the answer is a resounding yes. I was sitting with students in GA for the game. All of them were commenting how cool that was of him to do. I heard a few students comment, imagine the show he will put on when we win the tournament. The drunk guys who were sitting behind me jokingly said things like, "we will drag their ass to the chipper." I asked them who they were referring to? They told me a lot of their frat brothers did not come because they did not want to stop drinking. The big guy said, "They won't have a choice for the chipper."

The football players in front of me, were eating it up. One of them commented, "That is another coach I could play for."

My impression was the students ate up the celebrations of Gregory and DeCuire with the students. DeCuire's celebration after a tournament championship alone will be worth price of admission. That guy has so much passion for being so calm on the bench.

Rightly or wrongly, when he got the ball over by the scorers table, he dribbled towards the middle of the court where there were several NAU players coming down the court. One or more of them reached in and knocked the ball away. A friend of mine who was court side in chairs said that Bradshaw was fouled on the play. From where I was sitting, row 1, I didn't a clear foul. That was his only turnover for the game. Too bad, and bad time for a TO, but, generally, Bradshaw took good care of the ball for the game. When he was on fire in the first half, I was hoping the team would get him the ball a few more times. Great half and very good game for Bradshaw.

Agree wholeheartedly with PlayerRep regarding Bradshaw. I admit to being somewhat critical of Bradshaw earlier in the season, but he's worked hard to earn his increased playing minutes. In fact, I consider Bradshaw to be the quiet MVP of Montana's last 3-4 weeks of play. His drive & bucket late in Cheney in Montana's win over EWU, and now the surging self-confidence. Bradshaw's 8 early points were critical in Montana's semifinal win. Riley's taken a huge step to fill some mighty big shoes for the Griz next season!

I think Travis Decuire is just what this program needs and last night's emotional celebration with the student section was huge in getting more students back at games. That fire is going to extend to the students and bring that fire back.

TD walks a fine line, he is after the refs to support his guys to the point of getting T's. Ref talked to him last night and I bet told him don't get in my face.

In any event I'm not sure I want to watch a third down to the wire game again? Damn near lost some sleep the last few days but I must chip in and say our guys are damn good. I also think our talent is just below other teams but our players and TD get the most out of every play.
Travis was a great hire by Haslsam.

A 10 point win would be more relaxing but I'll take it any way these men can get it. One and done will work for me....

I think both basketball and football were getting a little stagnant with success over the years. Each of the teams have been successful with mediocrity mixed in there at times. Great time to get two new coaches that bring some emotion (TD) and passion (BS) to the programs and university. I think we all know TD is a short timer in Missoula and I'm sure we will wish him well when he goes. I don't think there was a better hire out there for the Griz. I certainly hope his passion brings a crap-ton of new and old fans to the seats for the next few years. I know if I lived in Missoula I'd be there. As it is I'll be watching on ESPNU with my 10 year old son, screaming at the big screen, and hoping we make the dance! Good luck tonight Griz and Lady Griz!

Actually, that's not accurate. And, he was seeing action at various times earlier and during January, but then wasn't.
