So Reinell, you're saying JC should have been kicked off for lack of productivity due to injuries? Am I reading that right?

I'm not defending Joey, but you say he should have been gone two years ago. What happened then? The house entering happened Halloween night less than a year ago.
All I am saying is, show me a productive year he has had at UM. His potential was never tested on the field. Two years ago he had the opportunity to prove his self. Never happened. Dan Moore finally came thru on his senior year. I expected great things from Joey this year, again looks doubtful!

His lack of productivity from injuries, as I stated earlier were not his fault. Two years to me is last year and this year. That to me equals two. He is in practice, and I am one person who hopes he will play this year, every game. When you become a senior on a team, you are supposed to lead from example. He needs to be the leader. He is a big powerful young man who can make the game one way or the other (game changer). He has been given opportunities to do this, he hasn't shown the leadership needed to be this guy, ever!

You expect him to show leadership when he's been hurt so much and not on field? How do you know what kind of leader he is? Tell us more about Count's leadership skills, or lack thereof.
havgrizfan said:Bigsky33, I still think you're confused on the difference between suspension and dismissal. In 99 percent of the cases, including the previous two coaching regimes that I know of at MSU, players who are serving game suspensions were still allowed to practice, go to team meetings, ect. So again I ask, are you saying you are surprised Counts hasn't been kicked off the team???? Because otherwise, there's really nothing to be surprised about.

No, not confused. I am not aware of players that have been suspended at MSU practicing with the team as Luke Daly is not now. When suspended you are off the team until the case is decided. Maybe I am wrong. But , that is what I meant.

Luke Daly has a torn ACL. Hard to practice.
Was he suspended before or after he was convicted in court?VimSince03 said:BDizzle said:bigsky33 said:havgrizfan said:Bigsky33, I still think you're confused on the difference between suspension and dismissal. MSU LB Marcus Tappan got a misdemeanor DUI this January and was suspended from the team indefinitely. Now at a JUCO. But whatever, Counts isn't even the best back on the Griz anyway.

If Counts is guilty I hope he is kicked off the team but I'd like to see him receive due process first. Same with Tappan. Just my opinion.VimSince03 said:RobGriz said:Was he suspended before or after he was convicted in court?VimSince03 said:BDizzle said:Luke Daly has a torn ACL. Hard to practice.

Suspended the day after he got the DUI.
Exactly. But according to Gwen, you are guilty until proven not guilty and not guilty doesn't mean innocent. Even if she does make you a sammich afterwards.The_Real_Chief said:I never understood suspending someone before the legal process takes its course. Who says that they HAVE to be? I believe in the saying "to whom much is given, much will be expected..." BUT (and its a big but), this is a young person's life. The outcome can have a lifelong impact. We should take care that the very expensive justice system we have created (and hopefully all believe in) gets to run its course. Then and only then, if it comes to it, do the crime, do the time (or suffer the consequences as they might be).SACCAT66 said:...A lot of times "public figures" are treated more harshly...
