I may have overstated about athleticism to make a point...but that hardly means I hate anything Griz or BG....take some Valium and just chill the hell out....maybe Alpha need a samwich....

Btw. There are about 7 or 8 starting qbs about as unatheletic as Gus so. I think he'll be fine

In the BSC....
in the nfl.

Guess that makes him a shoo-in.....

Getting back on subject, anyone not offended by bad grammar probably leads a very happy life due to the venerable and renowned benefits of stupidity. These benefits are well known but usually result in banishment to the badlands or to Alabama to live amongst one’s own kind in depravity, squalor and ignorance; in short, all the things they require for a comfortable and and blissful existence.

Lets just hope he is a healthy Brady Gustafson all year....

I stood next to Brady this morning at a youth football camp. He seems to have put on a “little bit” of upper body girth since this time last year. Does have thick legs for a kid that tall and lanky.

In terms of health, his inability to move combined with brutal offensive line play was a bad, bad combination last year. Only one of those could improve this year. He’ll never be mobile. I also hope another year in the offense will allow him to make quicker reads, and not rely on the deep ball with receivers winning one on one matchups.

…and no, he is not this year’s Wentz.

You guys just don’t get it. IT’S YOUR OFFENSE! I posted this in another thread, but Stitt’s unwavering commitment to run more plays than any team in the country is murder on the QB. You gotta think about the thousands and thousands of snaps BG is going to be expected to take through all practices and games. It would be a miracle if he somehow made it through that without getting hurt unfortunately. And no, I am in no way shape or form hoping that he gets hurt, so if anyone was going to post something like that, just shut your suck hole.

Your offense over the last couple of seasons put QBs in far more jeopardy than Stitt's. prokup had to be put on a "run count" for crying out loud...Stitt's offense is designed to get the ball OUT of the QB's hands quickly. Gus is not going to "keep" the ball very often.

But, you guys never worry much about your QBs...usually they are under a bus or playing for a better team. Your back-ups are better anyway.

RACIST!!!!

ironic. How is best griz in the nfl doing now? I think Kroy is still unsigned and the bills restructured dan's contract so they can probably cut him this year. So they're both doing great.

Please stop embarrassing yourself its hard to watch

Eh just makes your argument invalid :)

except for the talent part....but you of course think BG is as talented as those poor nonathletic, immobile NFL guys...

So now he is untalented, unatheletic. What other hate you got. Let it flow buddy. Let's hear it

He is for a NFL caliber QB....but I guess someone has to hold the clipboard....

i

wonder if BG can be the next Charlie Whitehurst....

what else don't you like about him? Hate how goofy he looks or his gf? let it out bro. We know you want to

But... But... Sriul (pro-nounced Surreal) said he was athletic.... could she possibly be incorrect?

Everyone on this board is a "pedestrian fan". Let's be clear on that. Sure it is fun to debate sports and the state of Grizzly football. That is why this board exists, but nobody on this board is truly qualified to have anything more than an opinion on a player's talent or pro potential... As Havre pointed out, fans (regardless of their understanding of the game) have absolutely no impact. The only fans that may have much of an impact on the success of the program are the major boosters who provide financial support to better it. Bragging about being an objective football fan is like bragging about being an objective food critic when you've never been a professional chef.

If anyone on here tried to argue football directly with ANY coach on staff the way they spew crap on here, they would get embarrassed, plain and simple. That is why those coaches get paid for their football knowledge and the rest of us are posting on a message board under anonymous names. If any of our opinions were worth anything, we wouldn't need to be on egriz posting them.

Crysakes, some of you are so concerned about being "objective", that you feel the need to put a negative spin on something like this. Can't we just be happy that the guy is getting some publicity and attention? It is sad that some of you are more concerned about your own fragile egos that being supportive of a kid who is working his tail off to win games for a program that you say you support...

Maybe you are just bitter and jealous old men that are angry that you never were anything more than a fan and your opinion is about as important as a Yelp review on Applebees... I know some of you desperately want to feel important, but what a sad way of trying to get attention...

pedestrian fan lecturing us about pedestrian fans. cute.

Thanks, pedestrian fan.

Gusafson or Wentz?

Get it back on subject.

Wentz is a once a decade type talent in the FCS and has the potential to be a star in the NFL. Not real fair to compare any FCS QB to him, in my opinion...

Saying that, it is not illogical to think that Gus will have a good shot of getting drafted if he plays to his potential.

If he plays to his potential, he'll be riding the pines by mid-season. The Kentucky Kid is a much better QB.

You have said this over and over and over. How the fuck would you know anything about Phillips?
