Congrats to the damn Cats.

Be real, CDA, I’ve followed your tongue-in-cheek comments for years. Real edgy and shit. I fucking say this as someone sitting in a Missoula bar while Cat fans sing songs about beating the griz, should we be this dismissive at this point?! Is this just another Cat win, or is this starting to become the norm? Why the fuck are you being tongue in cheek instead of sounding the Alarm?!
You are an idiot and bad fan.

Can we agree that most of the fans that have stuck around since the 90s want another natty?

I don’t fucking care about beating run of the mill big sky and up and coming FCS programs that were d2 a few years ago.

Are we back to natty or bust or not? How many fucking years do we have to wait to win the big games against tough teams?
With the dwindling talent level of FCS, it definitely should be natty or bust. If it isn’t, then what we are we even staying in this dying division for?

I have more respect for your takes than others, but this game it felt like the few times we stopped them, it was mostly luck. Today, it felt like most of our good plays were those fortunate plays you speak of
When they stopped us did it also feel like luck?

I had the most nerve wracking time at that game. Beautiful day! The end was in doubt up until the very end. Wow!

Thanks to everyone for the good time. Except the griz fan in the Mets hat that was flipping me off at one point. I guess he somehow knew I was a Dodgers fan and wasn't thrilled my Dodgers won for the 2nd year in a row? I don't know. Better luck next year kid.

honestly, it felt like luck when they didn’t stop us…

We agree that you are an idiot.
A lot of Bobcat fans once thought the way you do, especially as you defend Bobby through what is no doubt a successful but unfulfilling second run. I don’t have the time to cite your exact phraseology , so spare us your predictable attempt to claim you’ve never used the exact words I do now.

With that said, Rub Ass, as he is now known in Bozeman, made the Bobcats respectable again. He helped ignite new interest in the program and recruited some of my favorite all time players. The problem? We always got the fuck beat out of us by the Griz because we were never tough enough and often took comfort in a record over bad teams and 10 win seasons that resulted in jack squat. Rub had to go, and even you know it was the best thing that happened to the Cats since 1984.

Bobby is becoming the new Rub Ass. If I am right, I hope he stays with you forever. God bless

I’m honestly happy for the Bobs. They went from people wondering if they’d win 5 games to coming into the Mecca and stealing one from the Griz. That’s the thrill of a lifetime for a lot of those guys. You could see how much it meant to some of the players like the little RB kiddo. He was so pumped! That was definitely the biggest win in program history for them. Good for them.
:ROFLMAO:

What, exactly, have the ‘scats won? Literally nothing. Bragging rights? Sure. But until it all ends with a natty it’s just rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

Good God, gain some perspective. The Griz lost by 3 points to a team that has been an offensive juggernaut, holding them to just 24 points. The outcome of the game could have turned on a single play. The sky is not falling. Yes, improvements are needed but no one would argue that the Bobcats are not a very good team. It is one loss. Move on.
Man if you thought that was a perfect game I don’t know what to say. Was headed back to Bozeman and had like 5 texts from buds saying it’s good that we can play bad football and still sneak out with a win. Guess we just saw it differently
Your 3rd down efficiency was not great and you had 7 penalties. Other that that you beat the Griz in nearly every other stat. That is pretty damn good. Any other shortcomings you believe were a function of the fact that the Griz are the best team (other than the Ducks) that you played all year. Yeah the Bobcats eeked out a win. You should be very concerned if they play again this year.

The Cats were good, not great. I don't think they could have played the Griz better. Cats are just so good. Griz have more talent and are/will be better.

I was just speaking to the fact you thought the cats were near perfect. I came away grateful for a win in a tough place; but thought we didn’t look good. I’d assume the coaches and players would agree.

Credit to you guys. You made us work for it. I just saw lots of uncharacteristic stuff. But overall very happy with the day

Dodgers represent everything wrong with sports. Money is corrupting sports

I think the mistakes are the result of the Griz being the best team (minus Oregon) the cats have played. We have the best skill players in the big Sky, just need more work on the lines. Griz had a lot of things not go our way

Honestly what did Griz coaches to “piss away home field advantage “ today? That was just a tough game vs two good teams . Tipped INT for a TD coaches fault? A questionable hold call on an otherwise brilliant call for a TD? I think Griz fans that enjoyed the 16 year streak have an unrealistic sense of reality. We are competing against a school with similar resources and support and it was tough close loss. I just thought this was a great game that either team could have won.
This! I hope the morning sun brings some sobriety and reflection to both fan bases.

What a great game by two very good football teams. For all the talk about how great the cats defense is and how bad the Griz defense is, the Griz offense outscored the cat offense yesterday.

Mistakes aside that contest was a dogfall.

Hold your heads up Griz Nation.

Hopefully we will see a rematch this year.
