Crowd at least in the lower level looks way better than anything in Reno, especially for a 9:30 AM game.

And these are the two teams furthest from Boise. I expect the crowds to be 10x better than Reno for the Griz/EWU/UI/ISU/Weber games....

Boise is a much better location for everyone not named Sac State.
Guess it didn't matter for the Jacks, huh?  :?

Nope - long ass flight or drive either way. Assuming NAU had a team worth traveling for.

I've already booked my travel to the first round NCAA game. Last year was lots of fun.
You must have money to burn. Assuming UM even wins the conference tournament and gets the bid to the the NCAA tournament, the Griz could be assigned to first round sites in Jacksonville, Tulsa, Salt Lake City, or Des Moines. Did you book tickets to all those cities?

Yes, I booked to every first round venue. Ha. Last year, I researched flights to every first round venue, for me and my son (coming from elsewhere). It looked like every site was doable except Wichita. And then boom, it was Wichita. We figured out how to get there too. We even found a stray Griz fan to hang and drink beer with.

What's with all this Bracketology Griz talk. Right now I say the Griz have a 50/50 chance of making the Big Dance!
Like I said earlier, you guys are possibly wasting your time speculating if we don't even win the Big Sky tourney!
No "possibly" about it: The Big Sky is clearly a one-bid conference, so the Griz have to win the tourney to get into the Big Dance. Otherwise, it's off to the NIT.

Still, speculating about how all these other results might affect the Griz is way better than interminable bitching about the Lady Griz. (And please, keep that topic off this thread.)

9 out of 10 things people write about on Egriz is speculation...and who’s the best at hearing themselves think out loud! Dillon, are you the “speculation police?” If we didn’t speculate, we’d be reacting to results of games.

I heard that guy is an asshole. Was a very fun trip

Having all the Idaho teams eliminated is going to hurt :(

Can't believe the ladies laid an egg, but Portland State is HUGE and bothered their shooters.

Lots and lots of games today, and “form” generally held, with the better seeds winning. Still, there were several minor upsets (a 5 over 4, and the like) and unexpectedly close games. But there were also a few other surprises.

Of course, the win by SUU (7-seed) over 2-seed NoColo was of most immediate interest here. There was another one of those too: 7-seed Northern Illinois over 2-seed Toledo. Toledo probably had hopes of getting at least an at-large bid (and I did have them among by "Maybes"), but I'd say they just blew it.

Then there was 10-seed West Virginia over 2-seed Texas Tech. We watched a lot of that, and it really was a classic case of "who wanted/needed it more." TTech is going to get an at large bid anyway, and played like it for most of the game.

The topper was 13-seed Nebraska over 5-seed Maryland. We did not see a lot of this game, so it's hard to tell what was going on there. While Maryland will probably get a bid, that is by no means certain ... and losing in the opening round will not help.
