Commercials during the game

Does anyone else find it odd or even annoying that the only commercials you see promoting colleges during the GRIZ game is for MSU? I don't think that makes since.

I also would love to add more people attend a Helena High School football game then show up to a SUU game. We have something special as Griz fans. I hope we can keep it going, I feel like its losing its momentum. I'll be at the games regardless but its something I have noticed over the last several (3) years.
 
That MSU commercial for military veterans is well crafted. Lots of warcraft footage followed by students in uniform in class. The images of the campus are of nicely manicured lawns and government buildings, looks more like an Academy than a campus crowded with nose-ringed millennials.

This has been the case for the last 4 or 5 seasons. See when Engrstrom took over.

Word is MSU spends about 8 times the amount UM does on promotions.

It's exactly the opposite during cat games. Almost exclusively GRIZ commercials. At least in my market.

I think it makes some sense. Why market to your own?

I don't get the Cat commercials during Griz games it is low class IMO. Looks like little brother trying to get attention during big brother's games. It is a joke how low those people will stoop.

You need to understand these two points;
1) Montana games typically have higher viewing numbers than MSU games.
2) MSU is also advertising on UM games to annoy Montana alumni. It is a childish move but it is just what they do. They can't help themselves.

Actually, it's all about class...and putting butts in seats at Montana State University. And it works. Higher education is a bigger business than football and it's an obvious and successful marketing strategy to get in front of large audiences of prospective students and parents. It's a good thing we don't do any advertising during the MSU games then…right?

Oh wait…

Like Hammer said earlier, it makes sense for them to do it during our games, and for us to do it during their games.
 
The current lady president at msu completely out classes our Engstrom. We need a get like that.
