You obviously were taking a shot at BG for the recruiting. You honestly havent made a post really without trying to put him down and talk Chalich up. Your boy Chalich was actually a Delaney recruit and BG was a pflu recruit...
JUST SAYING

You have a disturbing amount of posts accusing people of this...

Stitt had a qb recruit.....Who's no longer on the team. While these qb recruits from past coaches are. That doesn't mean anything. But I mean if your talking who's recruits people are.....

This is making me think that if he doesn't sh!t a Drew Miller or an Ochs, the ship will have a new admiral... :egriz:

I see the theme of this is how poor the quality of players were from Delaney to Stitt the past two years. Last years team was pretty darn good. Two horrible coaching decisions cost the team two wins and potentially a 9-2 season. That would have been a bye in the first round and a better setup for the playoffs. I thought they had good talent, some missfortune at QB, but mostly it was junior high coaching from the big man. You are seeing the same thing now with play calling and player use including hiring the guru of defensive coaches to replace the bad guy who left. Yep, it comes from the top of this pile and he was not that good at CSM nor here.

Who? Are you talking about Willy Pflug? Because he was already committed before Stitt was hired.

Be careful what you wish for. I have a feeling that all those Griz fans who are wanting to get rid of Stitt may regret that if it were to happen. I have a good feeling that if he were let go and picked up by another FCS program, he'd have that program a top contender after a few years while we'd be dealing with our 4th head coach in 4 freaking years and still trying to get back to the top.

Great programs need consistency. Consistency = not hiring a new football coach every other year. We haven't had consistency since Bobby left, which is why we haven't won squat since 2011. Patience is lost on many fans.

Not all those players with success were Delaney Recruits. Overall, the area we were most thin after Delaney is OL, which was an area we almost always dominated in the past.

Wyoming gave Joe Glenn six years. He was consistent. They were patient. They ended up 1-7. Is that our goal?

This. Willy was a MD recruit.

I think mick did a good job of rebounding the program after the shit show that we were left with. That being said... his recruiting wasn't the best so I'm glad he got to the playoffs twice with players he didn't recruit but he didn't exactly leave a top 10 fcs program when he retired

Yeah, especially the QB position. Hence, why Stitt brought in so many transfers. Good point.

Yet both the starter and the main backup are Mick recruits.

BG isn't a mick recruit

I am just blown away by the number of people on here that think Stitt is now playing with "his guys". Come on people, he has had 1-1/2 classes. Do the numbers.

Most the seniors were recruited by Robin P. Most the juniors and sophomores are Mick's. The biggest issue we have as a team is the OL and all of them were recruited by others. Help me out here, but I count JLM, Bingham, and Justin Calhoun. I'm not sure on Curran and Jeremy C, both So. That's it.

When I look at the full roster, this team is loaded with talent waiting in the wings.

Wyoming still sucks. Tell me the name of the only coach to beat NDSU twice in the last few years.

Better tell Mick that. He commented on it a couple of times during telecasts this year.

I assume your argument is that Brady signed his LOI in Feb 2011 a month before Robin was fired. However it was Mick who is on record as saying he recruited him. Don't know specifics but he did red shirt 2012 during Mick's first year.

I'm sure Mick played a part in recruiting him but Pflu was the head coach andBG was basically commited to play for/with Pflu. Give Brady credit that he stayed despite the shit

And I don't mean to pull the "inside sources" but this is also according to BG's longtime gf

My guess then is that Mick takes credit because he was able to convince him to stay. But still not a Stitt recruit which was the implication of G-Bears original statement.

There you have it. From the girlfriend of a girlfriend. It doesn't get much better than that.
