College Football around the nation

I'll wait to see how we look but damn NDSU looks tough. Unless MT can step it up a bunch over last year I don't like our chances in Fargo :(

Based on this performance I would be willing to place NDSU as #1. They will dominate play in the trenches.

I think you are just trying to make yourself feel better. This is one strong North Dakota St.
team. They have been dominant in the 2nd half. I haven't seen any weaknesses.
I agree they look very good still (especially their OLine, RBs, and Safety play) but one weakness I've noticed is their defensive front is not very fast. Early in the game the ISU QB was rolling out and scrambling to a lot of success. Plays where normally I would think the D player had a great chance of running the QB down haven't even been close. And it's not like the ISU QB is an especially great runner. Maybe a team like EWU with Shoota, UM with JJ, or an option team could move the ball better.

:thumb: I fear you are right!

Cats gave up an early TD. I didn't see it. AKST was threatening again inside the Cat 10 yard line, but turned it over on downs. Cats then went three and out, punted it, AKST dude muffed it, turned around and booted it inside the AKST 5 yard line where the Cats recovered.

The AS TD was the 3d play of game. AS tried a qb sneak on 4th and 1, and didn't make it. Bad play call. The muffed punt was a long one over the head of the returner. Tried to catch it on his head going backwards, dropped it, then kicked it towards goal line, and then failed to recover it when he fell on it.

I think AS will likely roll over Cats, based on the game so far.
