College Football around the nation

Everyone knew the Bison would be back as a contender. Bohl left the cupboard full in depth. In the second half, the Bison are looking to shut out Iowa State. This proves that without Bohl, the coaching staff is still very good.

However, the 2013 Bison would have probably beaten Iowa State 40-0. The Cyclones really aren't very good. I would pick anyone in the FCS top 25 before Iowa State. It's going to be an interesting playoffs in the FCS this year.

I think you are just trying to make yourself feel better. This is one strong North Dakota St.
team. They have been dominant in the 2nd half. I haven't seen any weaknesses.

While I have to agree that NDSU is really good, it is still a fact that Iowa State is really bad (they went 3-9 last year).

Last I looked, Youngstown State was ahead of Illinois (another bad FBS team) 17-14.
Northern Iowa is only a point behind Iowa, and Nicholls State is tied with Air Force.

Did I not say that NDSU is a contender? Did I not say that the playoffs are going to be interesting? The Bison are very good. I'm simply saying they are beatable, but still very good.

Meanwhile both UNI is hanging with a much better Iowa. Also, Youngstown is hanging with Illinois. The Missouri Valley is looking to be dominant this year.
 
Iowa St lost some key players early which says something about the physical play of NDSU. There indeed may be other FCS teams that could beat Iowa St but NDSU is completly man handling them. Their O line is very tough. Well balanced O as well. Very impressive.

Just scored another TD. Still very anxious to see what our Griz are going to do.
 
Watching N.D.S.U...rock solid blocking, tackling, and execution. How boring! Hitting people squarely on the chin. Slamming Bison football makes one look juvenile... :egriz:

Based on what? The 2013 Bison handled the entire upper tier of the FCS that badly last year. I am confident that many FCS teams could lay a whoopin on Iowa State.
 
I'll wait to see how we look but damn NDSU looks tough. Unless MT can step it up a bunch over last year I don't like our chances in Fargo :(
