I think this is good news. It will be a challenge for sure and I hope people are patient with coaches, school administrators and the MHSA as they try to navigate this whole deal.

MLB had a plan. It lasted 4 days until the Marlins blew it up.

I know! But then MLB teams have 60 man rosters I believe. But I'm sure they didn't foresee 14 cases in the first four days!

Hi grandson what did you bring back from the game, for me ?

After finding grandpa hiding under his bed, (cough, cough, cough!) "There."
Moral of the story: Most of you will die of something sometime.
Personally, I'm immortal.

Here is my read on this. The BSC is waiting for the NCAA to meet next week and decide whether they will sponsor Fall Championships. If they are not, the BSC will cancel. If they are, the BSC will cancel OOC games and push back the start of the season to the end of September. If they can start on the 26th, I believe that gives them 9 weeks for 8 conference games prior to when the playoffs would begin.

Good read, Box. Our fearless leader, Wistrcill. I haven't been able to find out what his salary/compensation amounts to, but Foolerton made $145,000. Not bad for sitting on ones ass and waiting for others to make youir decisions.

Northern, Rocky, Tech and Carroll going to play football this fall in the State of Montana

The Board is a 25-member group that includes the NCAA President, 19 representatives from all three NCAA divisions and five people outside of college athletics. Only three FCS reps are on the Board: one each from the NEC, Ivy League and MEAC, all of which have postponed fall sports. The Ivy League and MEAC don’t send their champions to the FCS playoffs.

FCS STUFF: Strong source tells me apparently 4 SoCon schools feel more strongly than others about playing in the fall.

Chattanooga, The Citadel, Mercer, VMI

Several of the others may ultimately choose to opt out, especially with big payout ACC/SEC games gone now

Seems to be a pattern, the few teams that pull in football revenue want to play, those that don't want the season to pass. Follow the money.

Nearly 3/4 of Idaho’s football team doesn’t want to play this fall because of COVID health concerns, sources told @Stadium. Player said: “This will get drastically worse as season progresses. We’ve been neglected by NCAA in terms of wealth over health.”
