I guess it depends on the relationship. My husband would not tolerate that kind of situation for very long. But to each their own...On a related note, I've always been told "distance makes the heart grow fonder".

You don't think they had that conversation before he agreed to the 4 year contract? She might have been down to do long distance for 1-2 years but 4 more now after already having one could be too much
Perhaps -- and admittedly I'm just spit balling here -- perhaps because he's proven what everyone believed prior to the hire and has now earned the contract extension? If you don’t think it was necessary to begin with, then why do an extension now? Everybody knew he was a good recruiter.

I think most people would argue that Hauck brought the bar back to where it is. The program is back to expecting deep playoff runs and championships. Haucks only downfall was that he lost the state recruiting to the cats both on and off the field. Which in all fairness is a pretty major failure.Hauck went 6-5 overall, 4-4 in the Big Sky on his first year after his triumphant return. The bar has been set really really low, but I love BK's attitude and all the work he has put in, I believe this team will do so much better.
Not sure if you are aware of this but they have this thing called the transfer portal now. Pretty big deal in terms of turning over rosters. This is disingenuous. The entire defensive coaching staff, minus one person, doesn't leave unless the team's defense is horseshit and they get canned. Losing the entire defensive staff and having the kids pick up the new defense is likely to lead to more losses.
In addition, all of the players on defense were recruited by BH to play BH's 3-3-5 defense. It will take a couple of years for the Griz to recruit to Sanders defense.
She married a D1 coach. She knows the deal. You don't think they had that conversation before he agreed to the 4 year contract?
True but when BH retired, the transfer portal, for football athletes without a coaching change, was closed and most transfers had committed to their new school. Not sure if you are aware of this but they have this thing called the transfer portal now. Pretty big deal in terms of turning over rosters.
Man, you'd think nobody here has been awake the last 10 years through the era of remote employment. She married a D1 coach. She knows the deal.
Yes, and that failure catapulted the cats to a national championship…..that one is on Bobby and no one else.I think most people would argue that Hauck brought the bar back to where it is. Hey man. We’re still trying to recover from the 3-3-5. Give it time.Man, you'd think nobody here has been awake the last 10 years through the era of remote employment.
In first game, Cats win with one lucky play. And in 2d game, Cats cheapshotted 2 of our best O playmakers and that changed the course of the game. Those things aren’t on Hauck.Yes, and that failure catapulted the cats to a national championship…..that one is on Bobby and no one else.
True. Pathetic, but true.Only on fu-king eGriz will we debate if the coaches wife is happy with her marriage situation.
Guy still had a lot of faults, some of which were his inability to do what BK is doing right now in terms of PR and recruiting. Never said he was a bad coach, but he was far from perfect.Hauck was a great coach. You are the blind one. Team was nos. 3 and 2 in nation the past 2 seasons.
This. Nuance is lost on most e-grizzers.Guy still had a lot of faults, some of which were his inability to do what BK is doing right now in terms of PR and recruiting. Never said he was a bad coach, but he was far from perfect.

Did you really have to go there? Can't we have anything that's not political? Good grief.and Trump supporters
Mom, you are treading on thin ice, with words that some, OK, MANY on eGriz do not understand. Remember the K-I-S-S principle.This. Nuance is lost on most e-grizzers.
