While I was on the bandwagon with the rest in regard to hoping he hung it up after his season, I am under no illusions as to whether he got the program back on track. In terms of wins and losses, perhaps there's fewer than most fans expect from a program like Montana. In terms of class, character, commitment and responsibility, however, he left UM sparkling in a way unprecedented during the hauck and pflugrad years, which were marred by off field issues. Thanks MD. Here's to hoping he gets some long overdue late summer fishing trips in!
