A. There is a ton of history with the M. We weren't always Montana State, you know?
B. It irratates you guys, and who doesn't love that fact?
C. The M was brought back in 2000 by Kramer, and have had only two losing seasons since then (00 and 01). It has a winning tradition associated with it.

Nothing could be clearer than Kramer trying to irritate Griz Nation with the M. Does it irritate me? Not a whole bunch frankly. Does it amuse me? Abso-frickin-lutely! :lol: Reason being, with the helmet M, montana state is sending mixed messages by not clearly defining and embracing who they are, which is montana state university (msu). Gotta love that fact.

Let me know the next time you see Florida State with an F on their helemt. Ridiculous. :thumb:

Glad most of you like them. They are sweet and it will definitely enhance MSU's marketing of the school/team on TV and in the playoffs going forward. There is no way to not turn on the tube and instantly know which team is Montana State. Of course I think all the eastern Poll voters now know that MSU is THE Montana team now so they have been educated up and won't need to be reminded by the lettering. :lol:
 
The uniforms are, we'll, football uniforms. They look good but Kirk should sit on the sidelines for the big unveiling. The purchase order shows the offensive line #'s are all mediums in size...maybe that's where the M comes from. All in all they look ok :thumb:

Haha, right... The prior 20 years outdone by 2 of the last 3, in which both of those include major choke jobs at home.
 
I think they're just boring. And I don't think it's pointless to worry about your uniforms. I'm a big fan of the flashy, unique, yet nice-looking unis like Oregon has.

I think there's really only people who love Oregon's unis and those that hate them. I happen to love them. I would love for us to have instantly recognizable unis that look badass, so that wherever you go, or whoever you play, people know your team from any angle or any place in the stadium or at home. I feel like the Cats unis are just bland and uninteresting (and I echo the criticism of the new M. It just looks like someone had a little too much fun in Adobe Illustrator). I mean, they don't look bad, and I'm sure people will like them, but that's not what I personally would want for the Griz.

I hope we go a more unique route with ours without ending up like Maryland. :lol:

One of my first posts to Primp was about rubber ducks.... :roll: looks like my instincts are still on. Your 84' unis are the best you've ever had and still remain tops. The U.N.C. call is "horseshoes" or "hand grenades" accuracy. :egriz:
