First, Chase Nacarrato's bone-headed decision to bring the ball out from five yards deep in the end zone, with his momentum going backwards when he caught the ball, was simply the result of a kid who lacked the experience and maturity to make a good decision on that play.

The only bonehead is you for individually calling out a young player who is just trying to win a game.

Wyoming played a true freshman quarterback last year.. they went 8-5 and he won Mountain West freshman of the year.. I suppose that was probably a mistake that the coaching staff made.. playing such a young player.. they also played a true freshman QB in 2009.. went 7-6, beat Fresno State in the New Mexico Bowl and also won Mountain West freshman of the year.. it's horrible when true freshman see the field..

FU dude. I will post any time that I want. It is YOU who are the idiot! You couldn't add anything relevant to a beginning English class for Mexican 5-year olds.

T.J. Yeldon is leading Alabama in rushing this year as a true freshman but hey, what does Nick Saban know...sigh. ;)

Yeah, Growler is a very special kind of idiot. Just when you think he can't be any more ignorant, he outdoes himself. I agree with the post above, do Griz Nation a favor and go away Growler. Please. Just go away

More Obama supporting do-righter politically-correct posters who don't have the GONADS to admit that BYU has a real problem recruiting black players, who just happen to fill 97% of the NFL rosters at the skill positions, but are still very competitive because the play older, more mature players than other teams. Don't you pin heads get tired of being politically correct all of the time, and ignoring facts that a 4th grader could understand? I tell it LIKE IT IS! If you want to deny that black athletes are better at manning the RB, WR, CB, and safety positions than white players, then you are either clueless dolts, or afraid to be labeled as racist. You are pathetic. Grow a pair.

Gee, another sterling exception example. I think we should all succumb to the exception, don't you?

I am very happy, just more knowledgeable than most on this board.

After missing the season opener (suspended) Daje Johnson (true freshman) is the third leading WR for TX after one game...we can keep this up all night if you want. ;)

Growler, I still don't get what being black has to do with why the Griz should have redshirted all their freshman this year? And now you're adding in something about "skill players" You're going over the top and wandering from your original point even more than usual.

By the way, BYU has 16 african-american players on its football team this season. Low by comparison, but you made it sound as if they have NONE. One of them is Ross Apo, who Cat fans claimed was going to transfer to MSU this past summer.

BYU has a tough time recruiting black players because of their religious beliefs, but BYU also puts a fair number of folks in the NFL, including 8 players right now, one of whom is starting in tonight's Denver/Pittsburgh game. They're competitive because they've had quality coaching, including a college football hall of famer, LaVell Edwards. Plus coaches such as Andy Reid, Kyle Whittingham, Mike Holmgren, Steve Sarkisian, Dave Kragthorpe, Brian Billick, and Mike Leach.. I'm sure having those quality of coaches definitely had nothing to do with BYU being competitive either..

Dude, you need to review Ned the first grade reader. Talk about pin heads missing the point!

I have NEVER said that true frosh can not make an impact playing. I am saying that there are only a few (thanks for scouring the country to pick one out) who can really make an impact as a true frosh. Furthermore, only in FBS football do the coaches need to use them as true frosh, because they will turn pro early. That scenario ain't happening at the FCS level. So, stop trying to make a point with your lame examples from the FBS boys. They are not relevant to Montana's situation with true frosh.

No frosh at the FCS level is good enough as a true frosh to warrant burning his freshman season and not having him as a mature stud player as a senior. End of story!

Thanks for clearing that up...didn't realize this was only at the FCS level.
