T.J. Yeldon is leading Alabama in rushing this year as a true freshman but hey, what does Nick Saban know...sigh.
Gee, another sterling exception example. I think we should all succumb to the exception, don't you?
After missing the season opener (suspended) Daje Johnson (true freshman) is the third leading WR for TX after one game...we can keep this up all night if you want.
Dude, you need to review Ned the first grade reader. Talk about pin heads missing the point!
I have NEVER said that true frosh can not make an impact playing. I am saying that there are only a few (thanks for scouring the country to pick one out) who can really make an impact as a true frosh. Furthermore, only in FBS football do the coaches need to use them as true frosh, because they will turn pro early. That scenario ain't happening at the FCS level. So, stop trying to make a point with your lame examples from the FBS boys. They are not relevant to Montana's situation with true frosh.
No frosh at the FCS level is good enough as a true frosh to warrant burning his freshman season and not having him as a mature stud player as a senior. End of story!
