Both of these pics make me about pee my pants every time I see them.

So, does he wear the MC hammer dockers to fit his giant satellite phone in his pocket?

It must be so that he's always ready to make that emergent long distance rescue call to avoid the mob when cat fans finally wise up.

I think we all agree that Coach ron ash rocks the triple pleat khakis. Last year, I read a fascinating article in the Cohagan Weekly Shopper, the newspaper of record in East Central Montana, that interviewed Coach ron ash about the significance of his peculiar pantaloons. Apparently, Coach ash wears those pants in tribute to his Grandfather, Second Lieutenant Solomon "Slappy" Ash.

During his service in Europe in the Great War, Slappy was identified by French doctors as patient zero in a new strain of syphilis, Treponema Pallidum Ashis. The doughboys commonly referred to this particular strain of venereal disease as "Slappy's Clappy" or "The Dutch Girl Itch". Unfortunately, Slappy was later shot in the back while leading his platoon on a trench assault during the Battle of the Argonne Forest. Ironically, he succumbed to his wounds at 10:58 AM on 11 November 1918 making him the last American Expeditionary Force casualty of WW I. Second Lieutenant Ash is remembered as an avid bird watcher and a stern disciplinarian that often questioned his platoon's "gumption".

You have to respect a guy who honors his family ancestory like coach ron. I hear he will be signing copies of his new book on the shores of beautiful Lake Cruzado, right across the street from the multi use football stadium/grain elevator facility Coach Ron Ash calls home. I may have to ditch work so I can camp overnight so I can be first to get a signed copy!

This is such next level stuff!

This is great. I've learned a lot from this highly scientific social survey. Seven cat trolls posted in this thread: LTDA; Bobcatmanlick; brokebackmountaincat; BarbecuedCat; IndianOutlaw; dogcr3p; and poorcats. Only LTDA answered the question and he admitted to being brainwashed. The others completely avoided the question. This data does not prove my theory but it certainly does not disprove it.

Now accepting pre-orders for Coach Ron Ash's upcoming style guide: "Rocking Your Shades When Your Team is Down Seventeen."

It's hip. It's bold. It's beyond khaki. Coach Ron Ash shows us how to keep cool when the pressure is turned up. Paperback. Includes cardboard cut-outs with 17 different sunglasses styles.

I have a lot of affection for those wide-open spaces in Eastern Montana, and as those little towns slowly disappear, only the bar survives, for a while longer ... Richard Hugo landscapes. Unfortunately, I drove past the Cohagen bar once, intending to go back someday, but most of Eastern Montana is a place you go when you have no reason to go there.

The Jersey Lilly Saloon in Ingomar might be the best realization of those thoughts.

Now, there I have been. It provides a reference point for the "middle of nowhere."

That's the classic "playing .500 ball" expression we have seen so many times from Coach Ron Ash!

That's correct. He's neither pleased, nor mad. He's just right up the middle. One can see, however, the wheels turning on who or what he's going to blame if things go south. Probably just some promotion for his newest book, Leadership and the Art of Finger Pointing.

I heard coach ron ash is writing a new final paragraph about the myth of the well executed onside kick.

Way to keep it grizzy and cite the past. Weber State....6 days ago.

Shall we talk about the future then??

Portland St 48 state cow college 31.

Wow. 31 points? You have a lot of faith in the msu offense for a griz fan. PSU does have the best D in the conference. Then again, Prukop does lead the NATION in total offense. Should be a good game. Unfortunate that you have a bye week and have to fester in the stink of defeat to cellar dweller university for another 7 days. Enjoy the game!

Way off Hammer.....add 11 to each of your predicted scores!

But let's not dwell in the past...Where's doc3kgt?
