I think that's about right. Even if it's not, they are still the state college blue-and-yellows. They always will be, no matter how many modular bleacher "additions" they claim to have performed, no matter how many logo "upgrades" they do on the field (that present hazards to athletes, as the cut and paste work resembles the edge of a fairway at the US Open), and no matter how many games they win, the Montana State Bobcats will always be second rate. Always have been; always will be. It's the way things are.

Come on, I can't even draw out some of the usual cat suspects? Seriously, I've never met a cat fan who chose to be such. Maybe its just my generation and the streak, but every cat fan I've met was either born into it (brainwashed) or really chose MSU because of academics and became a fan by default (buffaloed). So what say you, poorcats? Ihatethecats? Longtimedumbass? What's your genesis?
The reason I'm so curious is that if I were a kid growing up in MT these days and not getting brainwashed, there's no way I'd chose the cats. Not with that super-charged dbag as a coach. Basically, I'm curious if Cap'n Ron is worse for the cats than the streak?

I am not sure I get your point at all? I understand why there was lots of steeler fans in the 70’s, lots of niner fans in the eighties, packer fans in the nineties and now everyone likes the pats and seahawks. Is that your point? Which program currently wins more football games? I grew up in a rural area and when I was a kid grizzly fans were non-existent, besides my father and I and MSU generally kicked our ass in football. Only hippies rooted for UM, which really use to piss me off. When I go home now, everyone is dressed in griz gear. Why? Purely because they have dominated on the football field in recent memory.. Is that the reason you are griz fans? Really? Not me…Montana State is the land grand Ag school with deep roots to the agricultural communities in our great state. Lots of people identify strongly with what MSU stands for. Trolls like longtimedickhead are not really MSU representatives

My point, which you kinda helped me prove, is that despite the streak being long over, despite a cleaner image and even more winning, all the kitty fans I meet became that way from one of two paths. The didn't pick the kitties because of it's awesome sports program, like you and some in your generation. They picked the "land grant" education you speak of, skiing, hunting, the area, Yellowstone, whatever it was. And the only thing I can figure that's holding kids back from chosing to be a boobcunt because of its football program, must be the spineless weasel they call a coach. I've practically begged cat trolls to prove me wrong and for some reason they ignore my simple question even tho we know they love to run their traps
