Newspapers in Las Vegas are speculating that Bobby is returning to Montana. It appears that he quit on his own. They fault the facilities and lack of support.

This is not true. From inside the program, Bobby was forced to resign. It was not his own decision. I can promise you that.

Wait so you had a kid in the program when Bobby was there too???? Weird...was the AD "consulting you at that time too"....I'm starting to think you're full of shit.............anyhow...BOBBY WOULD BE AWESOME....nothing wrong with a IM GONNA KICK YOUR ASS AND DONT CARE WHO FUCKING KNOWS IT swagger....I loved his teams..and most of all his attitude...you're all morons if you wouldn't want this man back...either that or you don't love winning games every year....we could get Bobby and go back to domination..or go with the nice guy route and be like the kitties just hoping for a playoff win!

People "forced" to resign, with 2 years remaining on contracts paying $700,000 per year, don't walk away with $400,000 buyouts. The bidding starts at $1.4 million, and perhaps becomes slightly less than that. Not saying that UNLV didn't want him to resign, but they couldn't force him to resign without paying him close to the total remaining on his contract.

You make a good point. I don’t know about you, but if I was GUARANTEED a salary of $1.4 million for the next two years, it is going to take two things to make me settle for $400K total to walk away!

One, a method to save me the embarrassment of being fired, or two, a much better PAYING opportunity elsewhere.

Use your common sense, does number two apply for the UM coaching position? Not too many people are going to throw away $1MM to take a job that would take 7 years to make up for it.
