Can We Stop With The Derangement Syndromes?

For some who think scoring 77 points a game, having 1000 yards of total offense and shutting out the opponent and giving up less than 100 yards is playing well. Being 13-2 is a great season, but that the losses were against our rivals, and we did not win the Natty, the sky has fallen. Did I like losing to the Cats? No, but there are worse things than losing an athletic competition. True losses are my father dying of cancer or if we lost a world war.
Now for the HDS. My goodness, the asshat comments and ill will towards Hauck is just over the top. So what, you didn’t like him, you thought he was a loser (looser), cheated UM out of multiple Natty’s by being stubborn. If one mentions that they support him, you get called a bootlicker, asskisser, suck up. PR/Hoops is largely correct, most do not know football. It goes deeper than that, you do not know coaching. You do not know how to organize and hire a staff, you do not know how to recruit, run a strength and conditioning program, build a team culture, let alone teaching football. In my opinion, Hauck excelled in building a strong team identity, a toughness, an expectation of working , playing hard. The results were not always pleasing, but there was a structure. My fervent hope for Kennedy is that the positive team culture remains, even improves. Why do some of you care so much about the resignation? Who cares when certain things occurred? Coach Hauck has every right to move on. I think getting the transfers and recruits signed was of concern for him. Last point. The comments about why he resigned has substance, those things would annoy me greatly as a coach. What Hauck did not say, could not say is that he was tired of the back stabbers, egomaniac boosters, armchair quaterbacks, boo birds, unhappy and insecure fans living vicariously through the Griz. As many of you post that this a fan board and one can post as sees fit, I have done so, will it make any difference? Not likely, but I needed to say it and I honestly do not care if it ruffled feathers…keep things in perspective, let go of the past, keep hoping and supporting the team. I have loved the Grizzlies for decades and I expect to love them a few more. Get rid of your derangement, for sure quit coming on here with your ugly agenda, hating on the coaches, deriding the Cats with every gust of wind out of Bozeman. It is tedious.

I would say you must be new here but it looks like you are not. I agree with most of what you typed.

However, head football coaches should not be running a strength and conditioning program. That's for high school, not elite FCS programs. Even elite D2 programs have separate strength and conditioning staff that run the S&C program.

True, but a lot of strength coaches are hired by the Head football coach. Not much different than hiring assistants. There are some programs where there is a strength coach for football only and another for the rest of the teams. Depends on how much money the school is willing to invest I suppose.

No apology here, you of course bend the facts to suit your narrative. I again remind that what I said was that I could live with a one year Stitt extension, but not three. He had not earned it and did not have the program on a positive trajectory. It was my opinion and had zero impact on any AD decisions. Haslam put out that one year extension offer and little green hat was butthurt and said it was three or nothing. So that's how knowledgeable Griz fans got our wish. Haslam thusly swallowed his biggest mistake and put it in the rear-view mirror.

You are consistent about one thing; Stitt remains your cat's meow. You also consistently show your limited football knowledge and your disdain for Griz donors. After covid and China discussions, you've run out of contributions to this forum. And how to capitalize remains a personal challenge.

i dug your old posts out a long time ago when you said something like this. pretty sure you said that if stitt was still the coach, you were gone. the hauck part, i'm less sure of, but it was well known he was politicking for the job and really the only other option.

The fans and the athletic department were tired of losing to the Cats and having a dickhead represent the University.
 
Is Bob Stitt as the head coach, Bobby Hauck as the DC or Bobby Kennedy as the head coach more likely to win a national championship this season? We have Bob coaches to root for at every level from D2 to FBS! Hopefully all 3 win championships in the 2026 season!
 
Michigan, agree with most of your arguments. But the banter, even ugly banter, about the kitties and their fans, is healthy for egriz. This site would be very boring without it. So while I will not be bashing BH or BK, or other players and coaches for the Griz, but will angry cat fans!!!

Why don't you give us a link to your bio. I don't believe you. No recent former Griz player would act and post like you do. Hauck's teams didn't seem to have jerks like you. Why are you so afraid to provide your proof? You obviously aren't tough enough to disclose.

You can't prove half the crap you post about yourself and yet you try to turn virtually every thread into a bragging session about what you've done and who you know.
