If we stop bitching, that means we have to somehow try and pretend that what is happening and what will continue to happen, isn't happening and won't continue to happen.

BOR are holding his contract and are the only ones who matter in firing him. The Montana constitution makes the BOR unaccountable to the people of Montana. It was thought making the BOR unaccountable to anyone would keep politics out of the BOR, though I can assure you that has already failed. Unfortunately the BOR can literally do anything and NO ONE in the state of Montana can really do or say anything that will stop them.

When Brint did the right thing by helping keep Pat Williams out of the BOR we saw a sliver of light for UM and the people of Montana.

If you know any of the BOR, especially the democrats who would support RE till he burned down UM, please try to swing them towards releasing RE from his contract. (I tend to vote democratic but trust me the Montana dems atm would support RE no matter what sadly)

I have also tried to get folks to attend the BOR meetings and make public statements. Actually going to BOR meetings, invited or not in large groups and demanding action would be a good start.

I am proud to be liberal/progressive on some issues and conservative on others. Don't buttonhole people, unless you too are a twit like engstrom.
