CAN SOMEONE CREDIBLE (SAM GRATTON)

No, actually you just proved you have zero idea about your own coach. He actually DOES have a TON of respect for the University of Montana and it isn't just coach speak. He actually MEANS what he says, when he talks about the Griz or anyone else. Come to MCA sometime and you'll see for yourself.

Yeah I know Coach Ash, and yes he is very respectful of his opponents, which is why in any public setting he will always say positive things. In a private setting I have never heard him be demeaning of an opponent but I have heard him speak of their weakness.

I think i have pretty thick skin when it comes to the BS the fans pull, who cares, its part of what makes the rivalry so special. It is pure hatred between these 2 programs.

But what Gratton pulled was complete lack of class. He will forever remember the juvenile stunt he pulled for his last game in a Griz uniform. Wonder what his kids will say when they see that game? I am shocked that the coaches let him on the field with that on his arms. I'd also be surprised if the Big Sky Conference doesn't come down on them for this too. When the NCAA cracks down on Tebow for putting bible verses on his eye black, what do you think will happen with FTC written on arms?

Fans are one thing, but the players, coaches, teams should be rising above this. They are held to a higher standard, rightfully so.

They did nothing to the many EWU players that had FTG on their arms earlier this year.

2506.....Exactly how did the Griz not look prepared: “The University of Montana was extremely well-prepared today and played a very, very tough, physical game,” said Ash, who has now presided over back-to-back MSU wins in Missoula.

I guess by Cat fans saying the Griz weren't prepared becase they wrote things on their arm, they are calling Coach Ash a liar.

As the game went on and the MSU defense adjusted to your offense, you run game began to get squeezed down, it looked like they were not prepared to play a full 60 minutes. By the 4th quarter you couldn't do much of anything and our young, inexperienced, light and weak OL was giving Kirk 4-6 yard per carry which allowed MSU to run clock and finish the game.

Coach is a gentleman and will always give respectable comments about his opponents even the griz.

Having Nguyen dislocate him thumb in the 2nd quarter and then be used sparingly after that (total of 13 carries for the game) didn't help the UM run game either, or the short passing game for that matter (or the punt return game). Before he hurt his thumb, he was on his way to a monster game.

I wish it would've been written in bigger letters.....and if the scats had it on their arms, I'd hate em even more, but I'd like that they did it. This isn't a company fucking picnic, where we all have to try and get along. I don't care if scat fans hate us or me at all, because I can't believe there is a life form so low and stupid that they'd root for the scats....they should hate me for what I think about them...

FTC forever...and good job Sammy.

That being said, the hate doesn't extend beyond the football season for some reason. I don't hate scats in basketball, and I surely don't hate them in day to day dealings. Only when talking college football...

Stubbins....I hate them..period! And they aren't our little brothers as some of the people on this board state.
