Can Bob Stitt cook top notch pasta?

Not sure about his pasta. However, he starts off with an amazing first course, that has everyone looking forward to the next items on the menu. Then he is hit & miss when he gets into the "meat & potatoes" of his menu, leaving people to question his cooking abilities.

This thread is about food...of course an NDSU fatty like me is gonna post here.

Hope he can serve up an amazing dessert....

I don't know. If you cook pasta too fast you have a good chance of not getting the quality product you were anticipating at the start. However, throw on an good sauce, and you can mask some of your cooking deficiency

First you need to tell everyone how good it's going to be.

You bet. Really hype that Stitt. Get social media accounts rolling, print some shirts, get to golf outings, outsource your pasta expertise to industry leaders. Then, right out of the gate have a pasta cook-off with the absolute best pasta cooker in the nation, and win. Then?

I like my pasta gluten free. It's a little more complicated, kinda like red zone play without a fullback or tight end.

I'm afraid I will need some wine while the pasta cooks.

there were some good ones in here...but this one made me laugh out loud. I'm just picturing a crap ton of griz nation throwing down every beer in town waiting for this to improve!

I thought it was better than Moms the first time I had it, lately it's been giving me a gut ache.

Might need to watch the timer closer and adjust his cooking style a bit.

or does it just turn into a big ball of mush?

If he cooks up tempo and innovates...simple answer "yes"! But, IF he passes on the normal ingredients for successful sauce in favor of novel ingredients...success will allude...simple answer... NO!

So you know what the deal with New Coke was? Coke is make with coca leaves (yes still is) that have been depleted of their cocaine by a pharmaceutical company. New Coke was an attempt to reformulate without the coca leaves. So is Bob Stitt trying to reformulate the team to eliminate the coca leaves? Enquiring minds want to know...
