Calling it right now, 8-3 regular season

Thats what I thought.........someone who sits at home while the rest attend the games spend about 450.00 per weekend and then listen to oh well I just sat on my ass, drank beer, and now can chastise the real fans. When the cats in the bag, the bags in the river and the coaches rescue the cat damn right it pisses me off. Think I'll take no. co off- maybe you can take my place. :thumb:

It should have never come down to an on side kick and why not signal for a fair catch when it did. So shove your

Sure it shouldn't have. I was also pissed at Rosenbach for fumbling the ball twice inside the 10 yard line.

You're an idiot of the highest order. Congratulations.

p.s.: He couldn't call for a fair catch, Einstein....the ball bounced twice.

I really like this team, the youngest team I've ever seen the Griz field. Cut the fumbles in half and the record is flip-flopped at worst. I understand people want to pass the ball more, but shouldn't we criticize the passing game when they try it and fail. The running was a thing of beauty and effective all night long. Pass coverage and fumbles aside, this could have been a dominant win. Our lack of a passing game might be an issue some games, but I didn't didn't see it as an issue last night, thanks to an incredible run game.

Flame away. This might've been the best team in the conference we lost to and they were pumped up by being at their home opener, surprised with new unis/helmets, and on a roll. And yet we took them to the wire.

Yes, errors, yes bad stuff and big concerns. This team will get better, I see a big winning streak starting next week.

Brint,

My First gut reaction to your comment was one of agreement. Then I woke up and pondered our Def. Secondary QUAGMIRE.... Will our porous secondary allow for such a streak?? What kind of adjustments would you make to the Def. Secondary in sceme or personell?

I spent $10 on pizza and watched the game from my couch... So if you spend more money, does that make you a better fan?
He lives in AZ, not like he hopped in the car, drove 200 miles and patted himself on the back for living closer than anyone else.

I think we may lose one more, not sure who it will be though. I think we match up well with MSU. I just don't see them or anyone else stopping our run this year. We are the most physical team in the league and can wear a defense down like nobody else in conference. EWU was very fortunate to get the win and I don't see the griz losing another one like that again this year.
Spot on. Eastern's D was completely gassed and demoralized by the end of the game, and they were lucky they had Kaufman and our Pop Warner secondary to bail them out.

In all fairness, that was the best passing game we'll face all season, and the secondary did enough to stop it until the very end.

I see. You measure your "fandom" by the amount of money you spend? Would it make you feel any better if I let you in on a secret? I spent over $1,500 to get to Missoula for the Liberty game....and last year, in Flagstaff? I spent over $2,000 entertaining about 30 people...and I spend at least $150 at the bar each weekend cheering on the Griz...satisfied?

I wasn't aware it was a fucking CONTEST, jackass. Oh, and I was kind of thinking of going to the NoCo game....too bad you're taking that one off. We could meet up and compare bankrolls.

More blitzing...that was about the only thing that upset their timing. Every time we dropped 7 or 8 they picked us apart for long gains.

I could go out and drive around in circles for 200 miles, rent a hotel room and call it good, right?

I agree. Too many times Adams stood back there w/ 2 yds around him w/ nobody there. All kinds of time. Not more than 3 Griz were trying to get to him. This kid should have spent the better part of the game running for his life.

OR someone could have blocked Kaufmann so he could not get to the ball! Isn't that what the front line is supposed to do?

Agreed. I'd like to see the play again, to see if there was anyone to block him. The ball went wide. I wonder what the players closes to Hermansen were doing. They may not have been close enough to block Kaufman, or may have blocked someone else.

Team is awesome, players are amazingly good, and typical Griz Players. However, the coaching staff Sucks @$$. Sadly the players are suffering due to lack of coaching and coaches need to be replaced asap, or at-least the head coach. How the hell do you lose a 9 point lead. NO! how the hell do you go 3 & out in 2 min. 4th qtr. and only up by 9!!! :o :o :o :x This staff is BS. Unfortunately they F'd Nguyen and Moore's last year with F'd Up BS Play calling. Sorry Griz Nation, but We suck and this season is over. 2013 is our Year. If we get new stable staff with BALLS... Go Griz!!! :thumb:
Ask the Jackrabbits...don't watch much football do you.

Too bad you are giving up and throwing in the towel and turning your back on this team. I still believe and I'll bet the players and coaches do too.

So is it fact that you have to win out to make the playoffs, since you only have one D1 win and you need 7.

considering how closely you follow the griz, i'm surprised you don't know they have an all-fcs schedule this year.

I'm on board this train. So many folks are jumping ship on the Griz already...sad to see that.

The reality is we have 3 losses....all 3 losses to RANKED teams.....2 of them on the road. This means we have played some pretty stiff competition already, and in all reality if a few things are different or a little Griz magic comes into play, we could have won at least 2 of those....if not all 3.

Anyone who has actually played competitive (college or higher) football or any sport for that matter (which most on this board have not but pretend to) knows that playing legitimate, tough teams (aka ranked teams) early only makes you better. It makes you execute better...it makes you learn from mistakes faster....it makes you stronger, faster, and more effiecient. With the competition we have seen already, the rest of the schedule is very do-able. Don't get me wrong, there are some good teams left, but this Griz team will be far better moving forward with what they've already faced.

It was similar last year....2-2....everyone jumping ship.....then they go to National semis when they start clicking on all cylinders. I see something like that happening again and alot of that due to what they've learned from these losses. I don't see anything wrong with 8-3 and another legit playoff run. They have the talent to do it. Gotta hold on to the ball, figure out some pass defense adjustments, and they'll right the ship. If I were some of the upcoming opponents, I'd be very concerned....a Griz team with a chip on its shoulder who has already been in the trenches with some of the best already. Go time!

I just find it comical that the same posters bitching about playing Fort Lewis, Western State, etc., etc. and not playing REAL competition are now bitching because we're losing to REAL competition.
