I am not sure what the rules are on blocking like that, but we are lucky he didn't get hurt. I saw him motion to the refs a few times. Can someone with rules knowledge inform me on this subject?
That non-factor was credited with 16 tackles and they were not all late.mikegriz said:JayLarson said:Seemed like every time Poly ran a play to Kantangota'a's side that he ended up taking blocks right to the knees, they called a penalty on it once, why was it called just the one time if they did it the whole game? Whatever they were doing was working, they made JP pretty much a non-factor for a lot of the game (until late of course when he made two great, key tackles in a row)
havgrizfan said:JP played BY FAR his best game of the season. His position had to take on that damn cut block all day long. He got chopped to the ground at least 30 times, and yet he had 16 stops, including a huge one in overtime. The Griz linebackers are out there ALOT. JP had to be a tired and sore man Sunday morning.
