BUTTE5518 is not 5518 the store

City and county recognize 5538’
Butte is a city of contradictions. Mountainous terrain very close to the Continental Divide. Built around the Richest Hill on Earth copper mining(mile high, mile deep), now the site of probably the most toxic body of water on earth. Historic 'Downtown' is one of the highest points in the city with a good view eastward to the valley and Airport. No wonder an elevation is Debatable. A good overall view is had from I-15 Southbound just off the Divide.

Always liked Butte. Plan ahead, and take in the St. Patrick's Day Parade and drunk. Large area of 'downtown' are blocked off so people can mill about, drink their brains out, and no open container law enforced. Total zoo, but worth the trip. Pre-arrange for a designated driver to get back to your Hotel/Motel. Its cheaper than a night in the Crowbar Inn.🖍️

I am going to continue my lifetime ban of the store. Never heard of it. Don’t know where it is. Having our first meal in Mesa for the season now. A nice local friendly family Italian place. The owner spotted us immediately. That was nice. 76 degrees and no clouds when we arrived at 6pm. Dukes on Saturday.
My in laws live in Mesa. Which Italian place? There are a couple there I enjoy.

Also, is this REALLY not the owners or is he trying to now right the wrong he caused on his business side? I'm so confused...hahahaha

The pasta, of which there are a dozen or so, are our favorites. Also, the gorgonzola salad. The inside of the place is cool. It has an outside deck area that is covered. We love the bar. Quick service and friendly people and bartenders at bar. The couple-owners used to live in Hawaii. The chef is the wife and she is Hawaiian. It's usually not hard to get into, but at peak times there can be a short wait. Great staff. Young and old.

Yes I have been there. Good food. Go there once in a while when we visit. Nice choice.

Alessia's is good. There's a smaller, family owned place just outside the Las Sendas neighborhood called Pacinco's which is quite good.
Been to Pacinos also. McDowell and Power??? Near Basha's if I remember correctly. Also good food. I approve of this one too hahaha.

But both are fools who don’t believe their own shit stinks. It’s always fun to pile on those types.
Well, can't speak for Stitt (only met him once), but I'll always have Alpha's back. He's the kind of guy you want in the foxhole with you if the bubble goes up.

Funny thing is i live in Butte but only have for a couple years. I didn't know this place existed. But I do now because of this thread. Checked out their Instagram and it looks like a cool place. I'll be stopping in and buying some stuff.
great place. have been there several times and have bought stuff from there on several occasions. always very nice people working there and they appear to be great supporters of the butte/tech community. i will continue to go there. i have to admit, though, i really thought this guy (butte5518) was the owner and was disappointed to think that he was such a douche and owned that great store. i don't recall him ever correcting anybody on that, but i certainly could have missed it. glad that's cleared up.

Olive Garden? hahaha
Now you've done it, Elrod. Get ready for the "[singular possessive Italian surname] in [random MT town] has the best [generic Italian dish] I've ever had." comments.
I have had people tell me Ciao Mambo is good, but I tried the one up north and it was pretty generic.

When the closest Italian that excites me is in Butte, America at a place named "Mr. Hot Dog," something has gone horribly wrong.
